Part of the reason that Trump was elected, is that the Far Right Religious Extremists wanted someone that would champion their effort to kill Planned Parenthood, and remove access to birth control and abortion. Through legislation, many states have had success in restricting abortion until there is virtually no access.

Not really mocking him so much as expressing surprise at how anti-abortion movement is now framing the issue. Marjorie Dannenfelser referred to same practice as "infanticide." Represents a very aggressive new framing of the issue (which Trump had sort of preview during SOTU).
