There are some weird storied about but none seem too extremely out of focus.. are their guidlines to where you can and cant go in stories?

I wouldn't imagine so. A story can go anywhere, and since this is a free country, you're free to speak any story on your mind.
Of course, the more outrageous the story, the less likely you'll hold an audience (lest geared to entertain such a genre, such as a parody or something).
Needless to say, if you want to post it on Lit, make sure its participants are over 18. If extreme, it will be moved to AllExtremeStories (or something vaugely familiar to it).
