Thank you J.R. for such nice sentiments, and I return you my love straight from my heart kissing your soul with a bright light.

1Sexylady, I think that we're all a part of the same heart, beating as one. :rose:
I too thought that I had found one who's heart beat for me, but his heart turned to stone also. I know its said that its better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all; but I think that's a load of bollocks! Most likely started by Hallmark to sell their bloody greeting cards!

-kym- with a warm  and even hotter bits too :p

Agreed 1S.L.; its an amazing how over time, the hurt softens. It may never go away completely, but it becomes a minor ache. My heart is moving on, Gee........Is that Celine Dion I hear singing in the background??? Something about my heart will go on?? :p

-kym- Its much too early! I think I need to find Neftoon's 12 cup pot of Java  Wonder if she'll share???

You honor my spirit, for without such light I would wither in the night of my desolation.

Which part do you wish to be? You are there as you have always welcomed me with open arms.

The soulmates travel through time together
sometimes they are not ready for each other
because one is more developed than the other
and one may feel the attraction more than the other
and hence a mis-match occurs, strong attractions are present
But the thing to remember is that soulmates travel through time in Groups, there are others out there for you, do not despair. The biggest mistake people make is closing their hearts
so they do not see when a soulmate passes by.

I am sorry both of you had to experience such loss, I have as well so I know the power of such loss and the big hole it leaves.

Can i find you in the darkened night?
you are my heart darling my guiding light
Centered I am with you close by
Don't go away, please darling would you stay
i don't like loneliness, I do not want to cry
My life without you in it makes me want to die

Its been six weeks since she went away
I'm trying to make it living day to day
The nights alone are so damn long
I break down long before the break of dawn
Her voice echoes back in my head
with her laughter and her smile
and her red dress on

Aaah rats.....I am having a hard time crafting this one.......
not my best...

John Roberts that was beautiful about the soulmates travel.....I was told I was his soulmate and I thought I was but I can't live with double standards. I hung in and gave it all I had. Now I will go on and find someone who will respect my love and devotion.
I like the last line the best.....because it fits so well with him... :( ***The biggest mistake people make is closing their hearts so they do not see when a soulmate passes by.***

It is something i have to remind myself of from time to time.
I was told the soulmates story when I was bereft the first time my ex left me.....I was so happy with her in my life...I felt complete for the first time .....but we were a mis-match her bond to me was not as strong, she left me then and left me more recently after twelve years, the more recent parting was not as severe as I never quite gave myself wholly to her again. The soulmate theory is sound....I feel a connection sometimes when one is near.:)

Well I was taking for a wallop.....I was not looking to love anyone but found him and there it was... He made promises the he didn't keep...like always being there...loving me forever.....I was the love of his life...and the most important one...*if you are not comfortable, baby, we will walk away*....but that is water over the bridge...***** goes on and so do I.. I have never said anything to him that I didn't mean...and I gave him all of me... something I will NEVER do again with another:heart:

I hope that you are wrong and that you do find one that is worthy of your love. You are a very loving woman, your light shines bright, there will be others, for how could they resist
such a inner illumination when all is such night.

We dance as moths to a flame
sometimes too close and the fire scorches our wings
our desire for light brings us close again but our fear
holds us at a distance hovering in the shadows
until the cold and the night drive us to the blaze
to find a promising gentler illumination of hope
and turn the darkness into day

one of my poems...it seemed to fit here...:)

J.R.; Such moving prose to begin my mornig off with, thank you!
1Sexylady if I may; never close off that part of you that loves unconditionally. For without that, you'll never be happy in love.
My friend; I've been hurt badly too, but never would I consider not giving my entire being to one who loved me. Yes, it opens me up to be hurt, but the greater prize is it also opens me up to fully experience love as it is meant to be!
I'll take that risk to have that shot of true happiness. If I am hurt along the way, I'll heal because I am greater than the hurt.
Peace be with you dear heart and Happy Easter to both you and J.R.!

-kym- drawn to love as a moth to the flame :rose:

A happy Easter to you -kym- and you as well 1sexylady have a wonderful day.

Another poem for this easter day

Ever you stir to life
the cold embers of my heart
from the depths of deep frost
to the warm breezes of summer
fragrant with expectation and joy
of warm embraces and light loving touches
smiles and shining eyes:rose:

Yes, my Easter holiday was a good one, Thank you. I spent it with family.
The cold reality of work now stares me in the face though.
That bites, but happier things to anticipate this week. I've a friend flying in from England on Wednesday who is spending several weeks with me. :) :)
I can't wait to see him, its been a couple of years since our last meeting and we've a lot to catch up on.
1Sexylady, hope that you have a great Monday and enjoy the week as well! :rose:

-kym- with a very large cup o' joe in hand this morning
