Odette was dirty, her normally soft brown curls were dusty and her bright green eyes were a bit sunken. She had been sleeping on the streets for the last three years and it made its mark in her, inside and out.
Still, she held a beauty that was entrancing, in her glowing skin, in the way she held herself, even under the rags. Perhaps that's why an interesting gentleman offered her a warm meal and a cold shower tonight. She knew what he was up to. He likely wanted in her pants. But Odette had been in this situation a ton of times. She'd eat and drink and clean up, then clean him out and make a run for it before he even got a hard on.
Then with the funds she snagged she'd buy herself some new clothes and put the rest aside. She was saving. Saving up for a better life.
So she went along willingly, and realized she hit the jackpot. This guy lived in a gorgeous glorious mansion. Oh yes, he was hella loaded. She could rob him blind well enough to make a nice life for herself. But it might take awhile. Which meant staying awhile.
She stepped inside the gates and turned to the man. "My name is Odette." she said simply.
