How Lit made my dreams come true...
Fairy tales most often begin with Once Upon a Time. Since this is the story from which dreams are made of, it makes sense that we begin there...please note that this is a TRUE story.
Once Upon A Time there lived a woman whose life had been spent in the service of others. Raising her children, caring for her elderly grandfather, seeing a dear friend to the end of his journey here on Earth as his 24/7 caregiver. She found herself lonely. Lonely on many levels. Caregiving can be isolating; mentally, emotionally and physically.
To allay some of this loneliness, she found herself on the Literotica personal boards and she met some wonderful people, one of whom introduced her on to DD/BG relationships. She had always known that her previous marriage was lacking. She knew that she wanted ... needed...craved...more. But she didn't know what was missing, until she entered the lifestyle.
At first, it was online chats with Daddy Doms who were happy to answer questions, develop her understanding. Chats with other Baby Girls and tradional subs about the lifestyle. Learning more every day but still not finding fulfillment. There were a few online play partners that lasted a few days or weeks.
Phone chats were next. While more fulfilling than online chats at YIM or Kik, she was still left wanting. She continued to learn, becoming more intrigued. With each day, the need grew, yet there seemed to be no relief in site. She lived in small, rural community where the lifestyle did not exist. She continued to build her OL relationships with a small handful of other subs, Doms and Daddy DomsOne day while chatting with another sub who had become somewhat of a mentor and even a friend, this friend sent a message inviting to a kik chat. She had found someone to introduce her to.
Hours later, the conversation continued. The three chatted and shared their pasts, their experiences, their OL and RL stories.
At the end of the evening, plans were made between her and the Dom to continue to chat the next day and possibly voice. From that day forward, they voiced every evening after her household was settled for the night. They discovered little things about one another, learned each others dreams and nightmares, became friends.
At the end of each of those phone calls, she would fall asleep, often with the phone still in her hand listening to his voice. Once he heard the rhythmic pattern of her sleeping breaths, he would sit his phone down on speaker. When he heard her movements in bed, shifting covers, fluffing pillows or sometimes having a bad dream, he would speak into her ear. He would reassure her that all was well, that he was close by. He would tell her to close her eyes and return to dreamland.
She reveled in his attention. She had never had anyone to worry about her, to help her, to care for her wellbeing. He wrote her poetry, sent her little notes throughout each day. She could hardly wait for his first visit that was planned for just a few weeks after their first phone call. He arrived carrying bouquets of flowers and little gifts. He opened every door, pulled out every chair, showed her what public life with a Dom was like.It was a lovely weekend, that ended all too soon. But in that short amount of time, they learned one thing. They learned that they were meant for one another. Both knew that they could not live apart, not after having known each others touch, their taste, their scent.
A few weeks later, she was packed and heading to her new home...in his arms. Each day between the visit and the move, they would spend hours texting, talking and getting to know one another. There wasn't a topic that wasn't touched upon there wasn't a doubt in either of their minds that they had found their perfect match.
In fact, he was so confident that she was meant to be his partner that they became engaged standing on a little bridge overlooking an old mill dam. The wedding is in a few weeks. Just the two of them. Pledging themselves to one another, standing on the same bridge where he proposed last month.
Since the proposal and her acceptance, they have spent nearly every waking moment together, loving one another, touching with hands and with minds, finishing each others sentences, planning a future, just being in each others presence.
There are some who might think that this is too fast, too much, too soon, too everything. To them I would say, when you KNOW that someone is the right someone, why wait? Why spend even one moment apart if not necessary. Life is too short to waste even a single breath. Let them set their feet firmly on the journey to Happily Ever After./
