have you ever felt like you were going along nicely without any real trouble and the all of a sudden, from nowhere, the rug is pulled from under you.

*bam*

and you're left reeling.
goddamn i hate that :(

i really... really hate that...

C'est la vie!

Oops wrong thread. I meant to say...That's life!

:D Hang in there. That magic carpet reappears in no time!

I know, sweetie:) Just trying to get your mind off what is troubling you.

You can always pm me if you need someone to listen.

Roomful of Blues

had a song on one album, I think it was called "Something hit me"

Something hit me,
from outta nowhere,
ya da da, la da da, forget, forget
What can it be?
What can it be?
It must be love.

I'll try to find the lyrics.

Hey Lexie

Are you doing any better this morning??

<hugs to ya>

Storm

Yup.. when a loved one dies.

Or when I'm fired (has happened more than once from "downsizing.")

Both feel like a truck has run over me. Hope you aren't facing either one of these scenarios.

well... i'm loopy with lack of sleep. i don't know if that qualifies as better, but pretty soon i have to get ready for work.

I too know what you mean. I've had a lot of interesting things happen this year - I can think of 36 hours in particular where the world opened up and swallowed me 4 times!

It's been said over and over, but it does get better. The best thing to do is find one thing, anything, that grounds you and throw yourself at that. Use it as your anchor until the craziness subsides.

In a real funk

as I type. Not the least interested in detailing why. Same sh-t everybody else has ever gone through. Will hold on to what Bob said. I've always made it to the other side so I believe so now.

I have too much time on my hands right now and in my business that's scary. ((sigh))

Ready to start a new year. This one closed miserably.

Peace,

daughter

Absolutely! A bright sunny day and all is well and you get a call. For a long time I literally hated the phone ringing. I just knew it was bad news. I know exactly what you mean. My two little ones are away today. In a safe place, but I swear if the phone rings I will go out of my skin momentarily. I hate the bams of life, but I also know they must come. They are the flip side of the wonderful surprises we get from time to time.
