I have aquaintances here and I have friends all in all I love the whole lot of ya!

I have maybe 5 people from Lit, that I talk to away from the boards. I wouldn't have "met" them if I hadn't come to Lit.

I've told them personal things, some probably too much. Compared to some of them, I've told them my whole life story, while they are barely into the first chapter of telling me personal things. That's why I've decided not to tell that stuff to anyone else at Lit.

If anyone of my "Lit friends" has to ask me if we're friends or not, then I think that says it all right there. My friends know who they are, and shouldn't have to wonder about it.

Not sure if I answered the "question" but I might have.

I think most os the Lit goers are good people, of course there are always exceptions like the trolls, unregistered and those that did register.

As for friends here on Lit, I don't have any as I said in another thread. Now if someone had talked to me long enough to get to know me then maybe they would be a friend. But that won't happen and oh well I'm not gonna throw myself at the people I think I would like to be friends/friendly with.

Someone, that will remain nameless, has brought to my attention that just because you speak to someone about personal things they might not consider you a friend.

I, for one, feel that I have many friends here. I don't have anyone that I have developed grudges against or bad feelings toward mainly because no one has done anything to me to create those feelings. If you are here posting, I consider you a friend. We have something in commone... Lit.

So how do you feel about your fellow members?

SleepingWarrior, feeling sorry for yourself gains you nothing. Go ahead and reach out if you see someone who might have similar interests. I always say after every time I am hurt by someone I thought was a friend, never again!. But I keep it up anyway. How's the saying go? A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet.
