Can you believe it??? This is my first time visiting this area of Lit. I didn't know what to expect, but thought, "what the heck, I 'll tell a little bit about my experiences, and maybe someone can relate."
I started in here on the chatroom lounge, just observing and joining in every once in a while. I wanted some company one night, and a lady just invited me to join her in one of the rooms....THEN let me just say whatever came to mind!!!!! It was a very intense time for me, and we became fast friends.
As I watched, and entered in, I found that not everyone was in here to just "get off", or talk about fooling around, but to meet other people, exchange ideas, and have fun in wacky situations!!!!! I saw just the other night where a ferret (yes you read right) and a little bit of rubbing oil can turn into a hilarious experience for everyone!!!!!
I lost my daughter in 1998. She was riding her bicycle, and was hit by a car. About 9 months later my wife divorced me (not because of the accident) and I was left floundering with no one to keep me company, and my son not with me except every other weekend. For a year or so I just didn't want to be near ANYBODY!!! Then I bought this computer, and found the lounge, and I have to tell you......it was sorta a life saver for me.
SOOOOOOO many friends, and a lot of compassion and understanding. Yes, I have had my share of "experiences" in other rooms, and quite a few in the lounge, but it is the friendship that others offer....without qualifications..
that really make this place a sort of haven in an otherwise
lonely world.
You guys know me as the lounge nut, 'cause I like to have fun, and off the wall comments are a matter of course to me......but that is just me, in all my blazing glory. Thank you all for your friendship, and being there when I need you. I wanna meet some of you ('specially some of the ladies.....WWWWWOOOOOHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, but for now, this is FANTASTIC!!!!!!
