I just finished a new incest story called "A sister's Request" and recently three new chapters of "Artificial Intelligence". Working on a new erotic coupling story called "Sex Friend" (like the hentai). then i think another chapter of AI.

Last three months? Wow have they been busy- filled with all manner of little real life dramas, including me taking a second job. All of this really cut into the time I have for writing. I did manage to edit and submit an older story in April. Just this weekend I finished a lesbian tale and I also started working on my Halloween story. Maybe that way I won't end up submitting it with hours to spare!

My next submission is likely to be a lesbian story I wrote last summer. By unfortunate coincidence I chose Louisiana for the setting- so I've been waiting until images of a flooded New Orleans weren't quite so fresh in everyone's mind before posting it.

I need to get cracking on my next Epistle story. I recently posted the 3rd such letter (though called Chapter 2). And I recently posted "My Danish Daughter- Chapter 1" (a revised and much improved version, with more internal conflict and the addition of anal sex). And I'm co-writing Chapter 4 of "Confronting His Lies" with Amasterfound (my slave). Now, THAT one has taken a whole different turn than originally planned (originally going to be full-fledged three-way relationship between 2 bi men and a woman, but steady becoming a same-sex bondage tale, with the woman receding into the background).

I finished and submitted my How-To piece (Intimate Waters) for the contest. It's the first thing I've finished in months.

I'm working on finishing a piece that was started for one of the voice threads on the AH. My intention with that one is to bring it here. At the moment it makes no logical sense, lol. I do like the imagery I've been able to create, however, so that's a start.

In comparison to Selena, I've been stretched out in a shady hammock, sucking down cold beer and eating boiled shrimp. Okay, no hammock.

Most of my recent writing has been preceded by that dread preface, RE. However, I'm now polishing up my Nude Day entry and may try to post it here. It's a 5500 word (mm/f) group sex story with a young married couple. The twist is the extra guy has lost a leg. The wife, who has issues with her self-image, admires him but has always been uncomfortable around amputees.

So the challege is to make it hot and light enough for the average Lit reader while conveying the message that beauty is more than physical perfection.

Updates on works in progress

I’ve been plugging away on my “Southern Comfort” (working title) series of stories. I may admit to myself someday that this collection is really a novel, but for now it is a group of stories. I’m not ready to post it, but I could use some help with it as it is a period piece and the history / time line isn’t right, yet. I’ve been researching the facts that the narrative depends on to work.

The character development and motivation is a little spotty and in a couple of instances even contrived. I need to rethink their behavior to keep it consistent with the reality of their characters and personalities. Maybe I could place one or two segments here (in this thread) for comment.

I quit writing on my “Train” series when some anon posted that it seemed weak because I was writing each episode before I had written or thought through the next one. I didn’t see a problem with that method, but the fact that my critic was able to see that discouraged me from continuing the struggle with that series indefinitely. Meanwhile I am working on other projects.

Currently I have a play that I’m sweating with that I intend to submit for the winter holiday contest this year. I have not seen a play on Lit. Does anyone know if one has been published on this site?

Finished writing novel set in Norway. Doing steady re-write. Might post some chapters here to test reader response, turned out to be more erotic than originally planned.
Working on Obseen - some may remember the long first chapter posted on SDG last year. Aiming to finish first write in next three months (non-erotic). Working on novel set in Portugal and UK - having problems with the middle section, need to read more Portuguese history.

Continuing to produce short erotica for Lit. Two new stories this month and an Incest story to be submitted this week. Nude Day is a challenge - I want to create (a change for me) a wholly artificial situation, ask readers to suspend logic and belief, then write out of the story through human reaction to an unbelievable situation. Not sure I can pull this out of the hat. Have three other stories to re-visit and possibly post.

Ah, the state of things, since I'm starting to settle in around here. I've made this list a few times, still haven't pushed it forward.

1) Novel finished this year, not yet started EXTENSIVE revisions. Not on Lit but currently posting in the Yahoo Group I share (non erotic)
2) Novel I am currently writing, stuck on Chapter 11. Not on Lit but currently posting in the Yahoo Group etc. Sorta kinda erotic in a way....mostly just really weird and sometimes violent. No idea what's happening.
3) Short story, non-erotic, in first revisions.
4) Short story in progress, erotic, in my head, won't get onto the damn paper
5) Novella in outline, erotic, will post to lit if it will just EXPAND
6) Revisions on romantic novella
7) Revisions/new ending on non-erotic short story I wrote about 7 years ago
8) Pulling up a short/short for possible expansion or revision (will be posting that here in turn)
9) Revising and posting a fan fiction that's earned me a lot of hate, but it was entertaining to write and, I'm told by some, to read. It's posting on Lit in Celebrity, a chapter per month until I get bored with it.
10) A whole assortment of short stories that need revisions before attempting submission

I think that's pretty much the state of things.

I think I'm a new "guest?" I lurk in here a lot, but I never know what to say in the discussions, as everyone else has beat me to my own thoughts, lol.

I have 20 chapters being rewritten and final edited for submission, divided roughly 75/25% between "Falling" and "American Baby." I have my first ever lesbian story almost finished, and I am terrified to put it out. I have my first ever Loving Wives story in progress right now. I have, currently pending, a Non-Erotic submission entitled "Butterfly Wings," "Fall-An Excerpt from teh Novel 'WickedWays', " and "American Baby 3." And two poems, one in each cat, Legacy, and The Alphabet of Love and Sorrow. They're pretty much crap.

I am approximately 1/3 to 1/2 done with my novel. It's killing me, which is why I keep drifting off to write short side projects and then come back to it.

And I'm reading everything I can get my hands on.

I did a short story (for me) called Hero's Reward in Romance (just over a month ago). It was very well received and made me feel like a writer for the first time. It seems to work for people who like a nice romance and for people who think Romance is boring. If you haven't seen one of my stories, I'd definitely suggest it as the first one to check out.

Just released a new one over a week ago called Fool's Envy in LW. It's received more views and comments than anything I've written. The feedback was great, everyone seemed to enjoy it (well, you know that category, most everyone). It's 3 chapters written from three POV (wife's, husband's, then narrative). The first chapter is erotic as the wife is seduced by their neighbors. The second fills in the blanks about why the husband reacted the way he did and what comes next. The third chapter introduces a new twist and he has to make a final desicion.

Saw this thread and decided to answer.

The last three months? Well, all the stories I've posted to Lit have come in the last month, so I guess I can plug them all.

"Fear, Lust, and Vanity" is about the 2006 Vanity Fair Hollywood issue cover shoot, I wrote it back in February.

"A Request for Help" came next, I wrote it in late March in response to a request I do something about celebrities I had never heard of before. I did something very daring when I wrote it, or so I like to think.

"The Rendezvous" I worked on infrequently from March to May after being inspired by the film The Upside of Anger. It's a long story and underwent many revisions and rewrites before the final posting.

"Conviction: In Media Res" is a short fic I wrote after an idea sparked and took shape in my head around the middle of last month. I'd had the idea for a long time, but only at that time did it bloom.

"X-Men 3: Additional Aftermath" I wrote after seeing the movie X-Men 3 in response to ideas it created in the mind of this longtime X-Men fan.

All these stories were posted in other places before they came to Lit and got good reviews there- here they have mostly received the same. I have another story pending which is MF Romance I wrote back in early March. I've also got another femslash tale before the betas at the moment. Both these involve highly skilled athletes. For now, that is all I want to say about them.

I too am reading whatever looks good to me as time permits.

It is with the editors now, so it should be hitting the airwaves in a couple weeks. It deals with a happily married woman who starts having dreams of being with another woman. What will this mean for her and for her marriage? I will yell when it is actually done. Nothing other than a hundred ideas after this.
