It seems there are far too many here simply looking to "hook up" and no one is interested in REAL conversation.

A little bit of advice guys: Most girls nowadays only want to "hook up" with another girl! Actually READ the profiles! You'll see!

What I propose for this thread is actual conversation. A REAL connection between people. I love to meet new friends and maybe meet for Taco Bell and BS.

I'm currently in a "big rig" travelling across the country and so the net is my biggest communication forum.

So talk to me! Tell me your story. Maybe I'll pass through your town.

P.S.: I am VERY taken. I am NOT, I repeat, NOT looking to "hook up." I don't really care if you find that hard to believe. It is -- I know it's not found that often online -- the truth. I just want people with whom I can connect.

Actually, to be quite honest, I only drive when we're at home in SoCal. SHE is the truck driver! How f'n cool is THAT?

We go throught CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, UT, CO, NV, AZ, NM and a small part of TX in the winter. She's usually 48-state in the summer. (She says she doesn't like Northeastern winters!)

Tell her I said "you go girl". I don't see anything wrong with coming to a forum of adults seeking adult conversations. I mean the erotica is something everyone has in common. I mean we have needs (most of us anyway lol)

Well, the site is a truncated compound between the words "literature" and "erotica." At least that's my take on it.

As to my bemusement...well, when all the "boys" only come on here to "hook up" and make complete idiots of themselves, it messes it up for guys like me. I want to meet someone with whom I can connect on an intimate level, and no I don't mean "sex!"

I use personals as a meeting place for friends, because a friend becoming a lover is far more exciting than jumping into bed with a stranger. This is, of course, my opinion. YMMV!

I met my wonderful lady in a chatroom and we were friends first. That friendship is what allowed us to move to where we are today. That is why I advocate meeting friends and not trolling for sex.
