I was starting to get worry about him, so I called. Art passed away last Wednesday. Just wanted to let you know. This is not a story either, I loved him. He was a very good friend of mine.

I noticed Artful hadn't been posting lately and just figured he was recuping. I was going to ask just last week if anyone knew how he was. But this? This is unexpected, and terribly, terribly sad.

Thank you so much for letting us know, Angel. I still can't believe it. I know this will take time to sink in.

Have you placed a thread on the BDSM board? There are lots of folks there who truly admired him who would want to know.

He will be missed....

I didn't really know Artful, but enjoyed reading what he wrote. He had an insight that only comes with life experience.
I'll offer a prayer on his behalf to the Gods and know that they'll be pleased to welcome a skilled story teller and I'm sure a good man into their midst.
Also a prayer for you lil Angel and know so long as he's remembered he'll never be truly gone from us.

I too will miss Art...his tenacity and spirit will be missed by all.

I hope that where ever Art is now that he knows the impact he made on many, and that he is enjoying knowing that he touched so many of us. I have a feeling he never truly realized that in life.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Harry's passing.
We had some good times, old friend, shared a lot of laughs, discussed some pretty esoteric subjects and had a huge amount of fun doing so.

I sincerely believe that we, as friends and family, are looked down upon and cared for by those who have passed on to another place. I know, deep in my ehart, that my old friend Msomi and my young friend Richard, look down and guide me in all things important.
Harry will do the same.
I hope he, Msomi and Richrad find each other and enjoy telling tall tales, laughing, and just hang out together.
You will be missed, my friend.

I read of Harry's passing with great dismay. My sentiments about this unusual man have been echoed in many places throughout the board and he deserves to be remembered in as many ways for he touched many lives and mine was one of them. I am hard pressed to say more that what's already been written in this and other threads...

His tenure at Lit was truly unique. I met him at the Rooftop. Was it only a year ago? One's sense of time behaves strangely in cyberspace. He was warm and outgoing yet boyish in his charm. A remarkable quality in a man and that's what I will remember about him.

Harry, I will wish you safe journey on your new path. A vintage cabernet and a Wicked grin will ever be my salute to you.
