Everyone here is just so interesting, really, and I would love to get to communicate with some of you a little more. I'm kind of short on friends, and it never hurts to make more, right? Here's what I've got, please be kind...

I'm an eighteen year old female on the Northeastern Seaboard. I love languages, and speak German and Spanish fluently, with reading proficiency in Russian, Latin, and French. I'm very politically minded, and I keep up on current events. I try to learn something new every day, and I will sit and listen for hours if you'll teach me something- rocket science, physics, Japanese, art history, anything, I just want to know it. Paradoxically, perhaps, I am naturally blonde.

Hey everyone. I'm an 18 year old guy, unfortunately stuck in MO for the time being. Next year I'll be in MI but that a ways off. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I'm a bit short of freinds online too. I'm mostly interested in history, particularly japanese, and classical philosophy. I love reading the medeival classics, Dante, Machiavelli(spelling....?), Chauser...you get the point. Greetings. I enjoy a platonic relationship and your ad piqued my curiosity. I' m much older and many of the interests that you have, I have become weak in for lack of use. My college majors were Literature and Colonial American History. It was the 60s, a time that I was glad to be a part of. I also grew up as a military brat in Germany as the wall went up and felt tears of joy as it came down. My German is less than fluent, but love to pracitce. I'm not sure what wisdom I can share, but what I know of life is that every day, I learn that is there is much more to learn.
