So we have a lot of stories about relations accidentally hooking up (woman gets into a box or glory hole and winds up being fucked by dad, son or brother goes to costume party and due to a mix up winds up fucking mom or sis)

But I figure platonic friends could also be a fun way to do the trope

For example: MC has trouble dating. Romantic relationships don’t last long and she doesn’t have much time for them. Sex though? Well she found a little community and a regular party where all kinds of wild stuff happen. The group is pretty good about filtering creeps so she is free to have all kinds of wild play.

So one week is the theme “roulette” where she and several other party goers are strapped to a large playground merry go round and who ever she lands in front of gets her for the night. The wheel is spun and her friend is there looking nervous as hell. Turns out friend got invited as a potential new member

Alternatively, MC winds up in a special free use box and is getting a good pounding when suddenly the guy starts talking: turns out it’s her friend and he has a full conversation with another guest with the other guest musing if the guy was hoping it was MC, who friend apparentally has had a crush on for some time. He denies it but MC feels his cock get even harder and when the other guy leaves, MC hears friend say her name over and over as he fucks her harder and harder and eventually comes inside of her.

I will admit I’ve had fantasies of goofy games being mixed in and in this case I wanted a reason for the two of them to be in a situation where they could say no but the setting would encourage them to break that soft taboo.

Because you’re right. I’ve had some work friends or even a couple real life friends who we’re so familiar with that even though from an outsider’s perspective us getting together wouldn’t be too shocking but to us it would be weird.

Like recently we had a going away party for my boss who I’d worked with for 6 years and we also are pretty good friends. We’d never had any romantic leanings towards each other but towards the end of the party we’d had a few drinks, emotions were running high and when I was saying my goodbyes we hugged and then kissed on the cheek and then made out. We apologized afterwards and were still friends but for a moment that little bubble shattered.

The "work spouse" (wife or husband) can be a thing, have seen it many times. I think it's different than the FWB because work is involved and most often you have to keep that unknown or unspoken ... maybe one other knows, but that can tip the scale to getting discovered. Work trips provide an entire gambit of scenarios and points of view.

I love this idea... even if I don't write about it, it makes for a great fantasy especially the work colleague context.

I like this. Thanks to the internet, different swinger groups can meet electronically and then decide to do something in person. So the Pamona group decides to have the Bakersfield group over for a bbq. Very low stress, and see where things go. Two married couples and a couple of their single pals meet with a like number from the neighboring town.

As they gather in the backyard, two friends see each other and laugh, never knowing each other was into such things.

They talk briefly and they decide to just keep their friendship on the down low so as lot to ruin things for their companions. "What happens here, stays here," they decide.

They just never thought that "What happened there" would be so epic.
