My friday is going really well, thanks Laurel...
I'm getting ahead on my reading for the semester (my first as a graduate student). I'm reading a book called "Confederates in the attic" by tony horowitz...it's very thought provoking, often mindblowing, and a great read. It's not often I come across an "academic" book that's so enjoyable.
I just took a nice long hot shower (always nice) and I have a nice clean apartment.
Grin...my roommates dog (who I'm allergic to) is not here since my roommie on vacation. Yay! The two cats are keeping me occupied with demands of cuddles and grooming though.
I found out today that my boss just hired someone new to help with my job which means I may just get an entire day off soon (yay!) and I'm getting contacts! (ok, at 24 I'm a little behind the times, but I've always been a little worried about putting something directly on my eye).

My night is winding down.
I am working the entire weekend, including Labor Day, and I assume it will be extremely boring, since I will be the only one there. I work tech support, so I am only there manning the phones in case some sales rep gets a wild hair up their ass and decides to skip the barbeque and work, but can't get their laptop to work.
I don't have a dog....but I wish I did.

I am concerned and worried about a couple of friends. It has kind of put a damper on my otherwise good mood on Friday nights. Still, I try to keep my wits about me.
Not all is a loss, I have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, a tall glass of ice cold Pepsi. Enough to put me into a nice sugar coma and forget my worries.
Don't have any set plans for the rest of the weekend. Probably go down to the river for a bit with my son, maybe Sunday have a few friends over for a BBQ.
No dogs here. I could hardly take care of my sons goldfish. I am a bad mommy.

Friday night has been a bit of a pain, which I my start a thread about.
My plans tommorow include mowing the lawn and Lit. Sunday's plans will probably be study and Lit.
Monday's plans are to have incredibly passionate sex with three beatiful women, unless we have weather of any kind in which case I'll stay home and masturbate.
I don't have a dog. The dogs that live with us though are total bitches.

In ten minutes i'm going to drive four goth/punk looking teenaged girls (yes, that's thier regular attire) to the movies to see XXX. The five year old boy and i will pass on the opportunity to see that movie, thanks, and just come home. Maybe a Baskin-Robbins stop on the way, though...there's an idea. Nice night for it, if a bit on the chilly side.

Update.
I had to pee so the dog is no longer licking my toes. He is now sprawled on my side of the bed while Rocky growls at him just incase Bonehead takes it into his brain to infringe on territory.
I know you all were dying to know this.

How's your Friday Night going?
its going. so far I've ordered a pizza and enjoyed part of it, saving the rest for later on this weekend. also watched Lord of the Rings since it was on tv tonite. I was going to do laundry, but realized I have no change or anything on my account to do it. so it'll wait till tomorrow and I'll use my friend's washer and dryer.
Any Labor Day weekend plans?
nope. might go riding tomorrow (horses of course). might go drink some, but that's about it. oh, and gotta do homework. I've got a bit of reading to catch up on.

dog is doing good last I heard. she's deaf now, and going blind, but doing well.

The night is going ok... Just got back from watching the local Jr. A team get handed anther loss in preseason, but thats par for the course.
Saturday I work, Sunday is gonna be filled with playing baseball.. Monday I am off to Calgary to take in the annual "CFL Labour Day Classic" between the Edmonton Eskimos and the champion Calgary Stampeders! It's gonna be awesome.

Yes, tomorrow is lunch with someplace and bluesboy and sunday is enforced family happiness. And I have to go pick up some foodstuff gifts for a friend tomorrow morning (cannot forget to do that!) and I'm thinking Monday I might do some kitchen experimentation (get your minds outta the gutters, I'm gonna flavor some oil, dammit!).
