A few days ago I asked for input on free web hosting and got no suggestions, so I thought I would share what I found:
I do not suggest trying http://www.hostu4free.com (
) as they seem to be some sort of scam to just gather people's names and addresses - either that or they took in about 3 or 4 people and then quit. Either way, they never got back to me (never approved my account), and there really isn't anyway to get ahold of them.
So I went to Liquid2K today and got approved very quickly. I am in the process of setting a website there, and while their method of uploading files is a little quirky, it works well enough, and there seem to be no popup ads when accessing my site (although there are ads when working on the site via their file access manager).
