A great fantasy and fun to discuss. My husband and I at one point talked about a fantasy of us going to a business traveler type hotel and me picking up a guy in the bar, taking him to my room and having sex with him. I think it was only about 4 weeks before I found a suitable partner. I did not play hard to get so I guess I would have been considered promiscuous. I don't think I did anything too outlandish but I expect the word was around that if a guy dated me for a few weeks, I would put out. I was in my 40's when I discovered some risk and excitement could really increase my desire.

"Promiscuous" may not be quite the right word since it seems to imply a permanent condition. My experience is only that young women often want to be 5-10 guys away from virginity before they "settle down". Am I right?

Sounds like my first wife! While married to me I later found out she loved to fuck most guys she met. She was certainly good at it too. We connected many years later - she was on hubby #3 - and she was even better. I wish we had had a much better understanding of marriage, sex and relationships - we possibly could have made it work.

I'm not sure just what it would take to have my wife take the plunge. We do comment to each other about attractive people that we encounter. One guy recently was really handsome and I said something in a general way about him and she agreed. It wasn't in a place where anything could or would ever happen. The fantasy of each one of us enjoying an encounter with not only someone different but also sexually attractive is certainly there for me. We are way past the days of having babies.
