Is that cropping up a lot or what?

'Free Market', OK, I get that. Individuals acting in their own interests in competition without fraud or deceit. Exactly like Capitalism.

Where does the 'Communism' cut in? Wage and price controls? Progressively higher taxes limiting profits thusly limiting investor participation? Government mandated benefits for the employee's? Semi where the US is today?

Is the Communist Manifesto to be shit canned? How much of it? I'm all in for all of it.

How does this 'free market' communism work? Sorta like the Chinese ruling mafia style, or the Russian ruling mafia style? Or maybe the US ruling mafia style?

I wish someone would explain it to me because I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around a concept that to it's core is based on an oxymoron.

I wish that I had an answer for you, but every time I try to get the resolution between who owns the means of production, I find myself walking into that Nihilistic desert of words having different definitions for different groups or the example of the tolerance of a black market for the elites in the Soviet Union as an example of how free markets are compatible with Communism which points to a similar phenomenon in regards to history; those who objectively observed what happened to Russia and those who are still in the Duranty camp.

It is pure masturbatory fodder that they will all receive according to their needs with no actual enforcement to ensure the hippies pony up that which is acvording to their abilities.

You're a sad person. Really sad.

You just can't keep your mouth shut, can you?

I'm sad?

You've denigrated gay men, make up despicable lies about people who disagree with you, call them racists, Nazis, and fascists, and say some of the dumbest things imaginable. Then when people call you on it you attack them as if they're responsible for you behaving like an asshole.

Take a long look in the mirror, Alfalfa. Then STFU, Miles.

Fucking degenerate.

Awww. Povrecito...

There seems to be a tendency to compare historical Soviet communism (put together, it should be noted, by people whose life experience was that of capitalism and tsarism), with all of the distortions that arose from corrupt or fanatical or misguided individuals fighting an existential battle with a numerically, technologically and economically superior foe, with some kind of capitalist 'free market' ideal ("people working in their own self interests without fraud or deceit" ajajajaja!) that has never been manifested and arguably never can be. This doesn't seem like a very fruitful approach to me, as in reality the same failings of human nature that lead to the corruption of the USSR are rampant under capitalism as well. Proponents of either can say that the historical reality is a distortion of the principles they advocate.
I think it would be more useful to step back and think about how a reasonably 'just' society might address the rather obvious human traits of greed, stupidity, laziness, tribalism, cowardice and a tendency toward solving problems through violence or threats. What social structures can address these constructively? What expectations encourage a more benevolent polity?

Let's compare it to North Korean, Cuban, Cambodian, and Chinese Communism where greed, stupidity, laziness, tribalism, cowardice are all treated with an application of the terminal ballistics of a high-powered bullet to the back of the head. In the case of Cambodia ball peen hammers as well.

You make it sound pretty attractive.

You make it sound pretty attractive.

Many Snowflakes who are enthralled by it have never been taught its history or true nature. Together they've murdered more people in the modern era than any other political system.

Do you know what economic communism is?

Do you know what economic communism is?

I know what Marxism is, I know what command order economics is, and why it always fails, but sorry, I don't discuss economics with the obviously economically illiterate. It's a waste of time.
