Great song. My dad was an Outlaw Country fan, which basically made me an Outlaw Country fan. Oddly enough, I never crossed over into the other country subgenres, but I still love me some Johnny, Willie, Waylon and Kris (Kris Kristofferson, in my opinion, has always been a bit underrated as far as his contributions to the Outlaw Country subgenre in comparison to the other "Highwaymen").

Interesting bit of trivia, they didn't call themselves "The Highwaymen". They were more or less given the name, which is kind of cool.

Did the aging thing, with a few bottles of White Dog. It was interesting tasting it as it aged. Just about done now, though.

It says the barrel can be reused, but I don't see how. Maybe if I keep adding charred oak chips to it.

I don't know.

On a store bought note, I bought a bottle from a Chicago distillery called Koval. Instead of rye or wheat, it used millet as its secondary grain. It's very unique. If you see it anywhere, you should give it a shot.
