I just learned of this free online course in Modern & Contemporary American Poetry by Al Filreis, of the University of Pennsylvania. I just registered (name, e-mail address, password), and I'll be notified when class starts in September.

This is very cool. I read about Coursera but didn't know they were offering a poetry class--this one through the U of Pennsylvania, I see. I understand that many fine universities and colleges are offering these free online classes in many fields of study. Education for da people! Thanks for sharing the info.
