New law criminalizing men asking women out in public or asking for their phone number has been passed in France, following similar laws already passed in Belgium and Portugal.

The gradual drive to criminalize heterosexuality continues step by step throughout the western world. Human and biological rights be damned.

Oh noes! :eek::eek::eek:

What's a red-blooded, penis-swinging, misogynistic he-man s'posed to do in this ever-changing world where his male privilege to intrude on a woman's personal space for his pleasure is bein' revoked, Renny babeh?

It's too much! Too SOON!!!

Not true. A minister is talking about working out legislation enabling a legal way to deal with stalking and sexual harassment.
If that was to be proposed as a law, you would still be able to ask a woman for her number, but not continue to harass her for it 20 times after she has already said no.

It would deal with harassment, not heterosexuality.

A law is not needed. Phony numbers will do. He asks your number, you connect him with cops, pizzas, insurance, embalming, dickgirls, animal rescue, perversion or suicide hotlines, temple or mosque, hospice, enema specialists, palm readers, escorts (any gender), corpse removal, or landscaping, depending on his level of annoyance.

Soon everything will be illegal except shutting up and going to work. This is PC enforced by the government on human activity gone wild.

Me:What you in for?
Other guy in lockup: Robbery and Assault. You?
Me: Chasing pussy, I asked for her phone number in public ...
Other Guy in lockup: Oh dude.. you're screwed.. they're bringing back the guillotine for such crimes..
Me: yeah but she was smoking hot, had to go for it..

That would be an odd and impractical law to instate. It's a good thing that nobody has, and this is all just speculative.

it's actually about harassing women for their phone number, following them and other sleazy behavior and it requires witnesses to mean anything. also, it's a fine on par with what you get for selling a teen a pack of smokes. so, yeah, have fun making shit up.

Sadly, some men think being pushy and obnoxious in pursuit of making their penis feel good is just part of being manly.

The new French law replaced an older law:

https://www.ewla.org/resources/resources/07022015/new-law-sexual-harrassment-france

On 4 May 2012, the French Constitutional Council has declared non-compliant with the Declaration of Human Rights of 1789, Article 222-33 of the Penal Code which punishes [proposes penalties of up to] a year in prison and € 15,000 for fine 'to harass others in order to obtain sexual favors. "

Accordingly, Article 222-33 of the Penal Code was repealed and a new Act No. 2012-954 was passed August 6, 2012. It relates to sexual harassment and discrimination related to sexual harassment.

(Words in [ ] are Og's explanation of a poor translation from the French.)

Harassment can be a very serious attack on a victim. Some UK harassment allegations in the last decade were ignored by the Police until they escalated into physical violence and even murder.

As usual, the media reporting is sensationalist. There is a wide gap between asking a woman for a date - politely - and accepting her refusal, and pursuing her repeatedly in the street, on line, by text and stalking her at her home and place of work.

As usual, the reality is more boring than the media report.

In general, yes, europe has been infested with controlled snowflakes.

The US & UK, need to take serious measures to distance themselves from that kind of life, lest all become... what again?

Robotic slaves doing nothing but benefit the "system" by earning money, and when sick beyond repair, used as a lab rat.

I wish it was even a joke, or some delusion.
