This has been done before (more than once) but I can't seem to find the thread I was thinking of... so I'm starting a new one.

Do you like when men wear cologne? If so, any particular ones or general types? (ie - citrus, woody, floral, leather, musky, oriental, fruit, etc...)

I don't wear cologne regularly but do so when going out or for special occaisions. Mostly I wear Roma (by Laura Biagiotti) but I'm looking to try some new ones out. Here is the description of Roma for any of you that are interested:

Launched by the design house of Laura Biagiotti in 1994, ROMA is classified as a sharp, oriental, woody fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of a crisp oriental blended with sandalwood and patchouli. It is recommended for daytime wear.

Royal Copenhagen is yummylicious.

Royal Copenhagen is a blend of orange, lemon, jasmine, moss, amber, bergamot, orange flower, vetiver, and sandalwood. It is an everyday or evening fragrance.

I like Polo, Drakkar and Cool Water.

I like them, just not too heavy or I'll start to sneeze.

*Edited because Freya put two Ks in Drakkar and I didn't.

Royal Copenhagen is it.

I've never sniffed Royal Copenhagen sport or musk so I can't give you an opinion on them. I didn't know they even made them. :)

Most of these that are being recommended are classified for "daytime wear" - which I believe means its a lighter scent. Any particular favorites for evening wear?

CK1= the fragrance for You

CK2= the fragrance for You and Her

CK3= the fragrance of the Other Guy she's seeing

I've always loved Drakar, but as with all fragrances, it should be used very sparingly.

I'm one of those who sprays the air and then walks into the mist. That's about all of the fragrance I like.

Drakkar Noir happens to be my favourite at the moment, but I also love Cool Water and Obsession. BUT my favourite is the natural fragrance of a man! ;)

I loved Raw Vanilla but ya can't find that any more. Aspen is another that I really really like. Right now, hubby uses a Walmart knock off version of CK something or other. Anyway the Walmart version is 2B... or something liek that.

Anyone ever hear of a cologne called something like "neige"? I must have the spelling wrong because I can't seem to find it.

I do the same. :)

I'm trying to stress the less is more trick to my son now.. I'm tired of walking into the bathroom or his bedroom and tasting his cologne for 10 minutes afterwards. *ack*

Check out www.fragrancenet.com - the variety is overwhelming...

Did you know there is a fragrance for men called "cigar"? And I don't mean the ones you smoke:
Launched by the design house of Remy Latour in 1996, CIGAR is classified as a sharp, oriental, woody fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of sandalwood and patchouli. It is recommended for daytime wear.

There's also one named after everyone's favorite comic book superhero - AQUAMAN!:
a fresh, marine scent, masculine and sporty

Adidas has their own scent but I don't think I want to smell like sweaty feet anymore than I want to smell like cigars.

Oh - I fully agree that too many people overdo it on the scent. Mild is the way to go - classier that way.

Anyone like BVLGARI ?
