Fox News returns to Bizarre Extremism

Oh yeah. And nobody else in the Media has a bias for, or against, any particular element of politics.

Is not The Wrap a Left-leaning source of information?
Is there a point being made there?

The same screenshot is on hundreds of websites, I chose that one at random. FWIW I'd believe that it was done by some now ex-employee with a beef.

I wrote Fox News last night asking for comment on it airing an alert last night calling president Biden a "wannabe dictator." The company just responded with the following statement and zero additional explanation: "The chyron was taken down immediately and was addressed.

Fox News stirs outrage after labeling Biden a 'wannabe dictator.' The network says it 'addressed' the situation

Fox News on Wednesday acknowledged that an onscreen banner calling President Joe Biden a "wannabe dictator" was inappropriate and said it had taken steps to address the situation internally.

The Fox News producer who authored the network’s chyron Tuesday night labeling President Joe Biden a “wannabe dictator” has parted ways with the company, two sources told The Daily Beast on Thursday.

Former Tucker Carlson Tonight managing editor Alexander McCaskill, who features prominently in a toxic work environment lawsuit by a former colleague, is no longer with the network—a topic that Carlson himself discussed in the latest episode of his Tucker on Twitter video series.
carlson supports him of course... but fox booted mccaskill out without the 2 week's notice period, lol. fox doesn't want another big sting of fines just yet. i'd like to believe fox did it out of a sense of decency and propriety... but this is fox, so nah...just covering their own arses.
The ousted Fox News host said that after the chyron ran, “the women who run the network panicked.”

“First they scolded the producer who put the banner on the screen,” Carlson claimed. “Less than 24 hours after that, he resigned. He had been at Fox for more than a decade. He was considered one of the most capable people in the building. He offered to stay for the customary two weeks, but Fox told him to clear out his desk and leave immediately.”

and now jesse watter's show (guest-hosted by pete hegseth) producer is airing some shit:

From an interview of ex-president Obama by Christiane Amanpour, what Mr Obama ACTUALLY said:

“If you’re watching Fox News or following some right-wing radio host or getting Facebook feeds within that bubble, your reality is different than if you read the New York Times or watch your program,” the former president said. “And when people are getting such fundamentally different facts, or what they think to be facts and their world views so skewed in one direction or another, then it’s very hard for democracy to work.”

he also warned of the dangers of silencing critics, something that didn't get mentioned in the segment even as they ran this chyron

OBAMA: YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO CRITICIZE ME

not sure this will create enough of a stir to cause repercussions, but maybe a few quiet behind the scenes words??

They called him a wanna-be dictator? Oh, the humanity!

Why would you be appalled when the MSM set the bar so low with the things they called Trump?

The Left has turned this into a new normative behavior. What I see here is them being pissed that FOX uses their tool.

The Conflicting Concepts Comfortably Compartmentalized Syndrome

Wallace listed examples of recent Trump coverage that had made him uncomfortable: a CBS Evening News intro referring to “presidential statements divorced from reality”; a tweet from a New York Times reporter asking, “Would you keep working for a boss who consistently refuses to distance himself from virulent racists, anti-Semites, and white supremacists?” Wallace warned that journalists should approach their work as “umpires… objective witnesses to what is going on.” He added, “We shouldn’t be drawn into becoming players on the field, trying to match the people we cover in invective. It’s not our role.”
