Found Alive!!!!!!!!

I am listening to news radio in NYC...They just announced that they have rescued 5 NYC Firefighters - alive after 2 days of being buried in the rubble!!!!!

After reading ShyLady's thread about it, I mentioned something to the chat room I frequent on AOL, and a friend who lives in NYC said they were found this morning. But, still, Goddess Bless that they are alive and well.

I heard the same report and the station I listen to also reported the rescuers hear tapping in the rubble.

It's beginning to sound as if there are more alive in there. Perhaps the death toll won't be quite as bad as feared.

All five are alive... 3 of them actually managed to walk out on their own... *smile*

We have a firefighter from our community missing... a true hero -already a recipient of the New York Medal of Valor and the Thomas Kenney Award for Courage... we are all holding our breath in hope... there is a picture of him an our local paper - with his young son in fire gear who hopes to become a fireman like his dad someday...

The survivprs are all people who were caught in the rubble, outside, when WTCs came down. The people who were inside are unquestionably doomed. And now there is more talk of cholera....
