"Fortune cookie fortune".....in bed.

Alot of people are familiar with the old game of reading your fortune from fortune cookies and adding the words "in bed" or "at the circus" to them for a laugh. I thought it might be fun here.

Two of mine for today...

*Your career plans look bright......in bed/at the circus

*Today is a good day for being with a companion.....in bed/at the circus

My two favorite fortunes from cookies (though they don't fit the thread theme. Forgive me).

One I got on my birthday with a bunch of friends as my favorite Chines restaurant. Instead of some cryptic statement or boilerplate platitude, it simply said, "You will soon have cake". And I did!

A couple of months later I got a fortune that was blank on the fortune side.

Heh..I got cake in the restaurant. I got nothing in bed.

Which I suppose matched the second fortune nicely. It's what usually happens in bed with me, alas.

Yes, but then you're left with an icing and crumb mess. There are better messes to be made in bed.

Besides, a friend made the cake for me. I'm not sure how well it would have gone had I said, "No, I'm going to take this home to bed instead of eating it here". They think I'm strange enough as it is.

And there's such a thing as liking cake too much!

dandy shy....love the thread, now i wish i had kept more of my fortunes...i've gotten some really spectacular ones....

I might have to order chinese tonight or tomorrow night, just so i can participate
