Formatting on a story is messed up

From the FAQ:
I've re-edited my story and want to replace the posted version with my new edited one. How do I do this?

No problem! Simply submit the new version as you submitted the old one, only adding the word "EDITED" to the title (ex. "My Sexy Firefighter Ch. 03 - EDITED") so that we know to replace the old text with the new text. We will then replace the original text with the new text. Your story will retain its previous voting score and views.
If you rather have it removed, do the same but add "DELETE" instead of EDITED, and there's no need to include any of the text, except maybe an explaination of why you want it removed in the Notes field.

And it was your fault. You should turn off all special formatting in Word. Paragraphs should come about by hitting the return/enter key twice.

This should have shown up in the preview unless you submitted a word doc...

That said, cut and paste the story into the submission form, make sure everything is exactly as you submitted it originally, except add the "EDITED" without the quotes to the title. "Tell Me Ch. 03 EDITED"

Thank you. It appears as if someone has already repaired the error. Thanks again.

ALWAYS preview. Really look at the damn thing, too. It'll surprise you, sometimes.

I just deleted two stories, and I actually DID have to put text in the story box. Otherwise I did not get a "SUBMIT NOW" button. Probably it was the program looking for the minimum number of words, and you'd be fine deleting a poem. Just a theory. Anyway, nothing worked until I pasted words in the box. Just sayin.

Once in a great while, the whole site has formatting errors. Unexpected crap, and they fix it pretty soon. But sometimes, you really have a dicky format on a posted story. EDITED stories generally take longer to post than they did to go up, originally, too. Or maybe it just seems like it!
