I'm absolutely sure what I'm looking for is on the site somewhere but after a week of looking I give up.

I thought I'd submit an Illustrated story but I'm failing miserably. I read somewhere on the site that all I needed to do was to embed the pix in a Word document and post it. Wrong, the JPG doesn't travel well.

I've read multiple opinions around the site as to appropriate size of the image but when I embed anything >400 pixels it looks like a postage stamp in Word. 1200 pixels on the long edge seems minimal for detail viewing.

My method for judging appropriate word wrapping and page formatting was to have been Previewing the copy on the Submissions page but as I indicated no image appeared.

Help!

AFAIK, the preview function only shows the story text. You need to submit the Word document and trust Word's formatting as a preview. Lit is going to reformat to fit their Literotica Standard look and feel, anyway.

Make sure you put a note in the submission form that there are images in the Word file; otherwise, the story review process is only going to show what you see in preview mode.

The illustration is supposed to be a drawing by you or a picture taken of you or by you. If you use somebody else's work, such as a copyrighted photo from some porn site, the story will be rejected.
