Formatting for Submission Question?

I just need to know what kind of format (or word processing program) do I need to be able to submit my stories as I have written them? I have Microsoft Word for XP and I can never get the format to submit when I'm posting stories.

Help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

The only real formatting allowed is:

Bold...........<b></b>
Italic..........<i></i>
Center........<center></center>
Right..........<right></right>
Left...........<left></left>

Font changes are NOT allowed nor is Size changing.

As for how to submit...

Quickest .... cut and paste into the text box on the submit form. Use the html tags to format your text.

Not so quick...submit a .doc, .rtf document with your formats knowing that not all of them may make it through.
