I didn't announce my arrival, and I doubt seriously I'd announce my leaving. I just jumped right in, and posted in other threads, and got noticed and "liked" that way.

I certainly would NEVER announce I'm leaving, and then LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER announce that I'm back. That would make me look like a fool, more than I already am.
