But I've looked all over. Fortunately, Google picks this site up, so I could scan by keywords. Yet I've still had no luck.

I'm trying to find a story (I'm [fairly] certain it's Sci Fi / Fantasy) I read a while back...

Synopsis:
Wizard makes/has a ring... convinces/seduces young maiden to screw him. Graphically and in detail... when maiden leaves, wizard "adjusts" ring.
Turns out the ring was enchanted to... erm, "record" their little lovemaking session, and said wizard can now replay that event at will.

As I mentioned, I've already searched through google, as well as the sections I figured it'd be under... no luck so far.
So, does this sound familiar to anyone?

Could be an interesting idea for a sequel. Taking the industry to a whole new level... *laughs*
But in this story, Mr. Wizard was a greedy perv. Can't say as I'd blame him, either.

Sounds like one of the sub-plots in Brainstorm (1983) — most notable as Natalie Wood’s last film.

They invent a machine which can record all brain impulses to replicate the experience for anybody else who plays back the information into their brain.

Of course, one character records himself screwing one of the hot women on the project. (There is always one foxy scientist on every project, right?)

An older guy makes a loop of the tape where the orgasm was recorded and plays it into his own noggin. The result is that he is too busy having orgasms to take off the playback helmet, and ends up spending the night orgasming a couple thousand times (every time the tape-loop makes a cycle) until his twitching body is discovered the following day.



If you are interested in the basic idea, it has been used in several sci-fi stories:

The earliest use of the idea was in The Big Ball of Wax written in 1954 by Shepherd Mead — best know as the author of How To Succeed In Business Without really Trying.(1952)

Then there was:

We Can Remember It For You Wholesale by Philip K. Dick, film adaptation entitled, Total Recall (1990)

Brainstorm (1983) original stroy by Bruce Joel Rubin

And most recently in an original screenplay written by James Cameron and directed by Kathryn Bigelow as Strange Days (1995)
