The US and Canada are involved in a legislatorial showdown. It's time to clear out the OK Corral and arm the mounties. Things are coming to a head and each legislative body is determined to outlegislate the other.
The US passes a law saying that Bell didn't invent the telephone. Canada follows with their own opening salvo by creating a law that says that Bell did invent the telephone.
It's now the US Congress' move. We're all breathless with anticipation. Such a cliffhanger, we can barely wait for the next episode.
