*Looking for one person to take on the (Master). I don't typically have a specific direction with my stories. (They never go as planned so I Just go where they tend to lead). I'll pm whoever and make ideas happen that way. I'm not new here, just been out of the game for a while and now I'm wanting to restart this story. If the person that takes the part has any ideas, we'll go from there. For now, here's the starting point...* First come first serve..... *

````````````````````````````````````````````````
Rajani always went out into the maze like cove to get away from daily life. She is a princess with more on her plate than she should, considering her father died only a year ago and her brother took the throne. Normally the eldest of the two would have the crown, but her brother was male and that ended any arguments. Dameon, her brother, wasn't all that young only 19yrs old in human years. Yet, he still acted like a child. One of those "I have the crown, I can do what I want" attitudes.
Dameon didn't care about the people. His sister stole his heart, yet he never once said anything of the kind. He could easily make her his wife, yet he respected her to much for that. Dameon meant well most the time, but his actions never showed it. He put fear into everyone around him, cept for Rajani, she was to strong to fear anyone. She did everything for this Kingdom and let Dameon take all the credit, made him look good when everyone was talking about him.
Now, a year later, Dameon was out on a long road trip, war has been called upon him and as always, he was the start of it. He always started the wars with any king or prince t hat wanted his sister. If they won the war, they get his sister as a reward, so far none has won. And that was the cost of his sisters hand. Dameon wouldn't have any other way.
He has been gone for only three days. Rajani on the other hand, was out in the cove in her secret place where Dameon only knew about. At some point she fell asleep while watching the night sky. She doesn't remember much, barely remembers seeing some figures dressed in black cloaks, having something cover her mouth then darkness. When she woke up, some hours later, she found herself bound somewhere. Her arms were streched above her head bound at the wrist with a single rope tied to a hook. Also bound at the ankles on two pegs in the ground to spread her legs. Toes barely touching the floor. For some reason they had her blindfolded as well. Rajani was becoming very sore from the position and every now an then she would try and struggle, no matter how weak she felt. Someone obviously knew she was here, for there would be someone that kept her clean and fed, Even if she didn't want to eat, refusing the unknown food. For all she knew it could have been poisoned. After all this time, they have yet to release her from the agonizing position.
Rajani was very beautiful, even more beautiful to the one who kept her like this. Deep bluish white hair down to her knees, braieded just enough to keep out of her face. Exposing a very innocent and soft looking face. Her slender form, for now, was unharmed, very toned standing 5'7 with legs that seemed to never end. Full bust that was perfect for her frame, which stood out very prompt within the stretch. Rajani's body glistened within the firelight showing off a hint of purplish blue skin. The one who took care of her needs would also rub her down with oil, as if getting ready to present her. Rajani was a very good find for she was a very rare elf, her people were all woodland elves, but she was of mixed blood with another elven breed that is assumed to no longer exsist.
Rajani heard the normal sounds of someone entering, all she could do was assume it was her caretaker... Then again it really didn't sound like it was. Normally she would be able to hear the water from the bucket as the person set it down, not this time..... nor the scent of this person. His scent was more... riicher, cleaner. The scent alone made her realize this person is possibly of high rank, like she was. Although, without being able to see him, for all she knew it was just a servent.
Caladan James MacDonald
Elven Warrior King
5' 6"
140 Pounds
Long Brown Hair
Sparkling Green Eyes
9" long and thick
Caladan had the firl brought in after the war was finally won. She was to be brought in as his prize, his wife. He didn't know that the people who brought her in had tied her up and had her in one of the dungeon rooms. He had the ones who did this executed on the spot, and went down to see her. He shook his head when he saw her tied up and blindfolded.
He talked to her in elven. "You are my prize for winning the war against your brother. You will be my wife, and the queen of my kingdom. Do you understand?" He reached up and undid her blindfold, so that she could see him. He knew one thing, that she probably wouldn't be with him volluntarily, at least once she knew about what happened to her brother, but that was war. He took over the kingdom and her as a spoils of war.
"I am Caladan James MacDonald, and I am the king of this kingdom, and now your kingdom as well. I have taken over, and you are to become my wife."
Rajani heard this man speak and listened to him carefully. She really didn't want to speak to him, but she needed answers and knowing what she did, he had them. It took her a moment to really see him, once everything was focused enough she didn't take her eyes off him. Not trusting him in the current situation.
"I want proof of brother, if possible to see his body."
Once again she struggled against the ropes at her hands, the pain was clear in her eyes, yet her face and voice hid it well.
"If what you say is true, then why did you take me like this? I would have came to you peacfully... After all... I am your prize .. This was uncalled for."
She was trying to be angry and defiant despite the weakness that was starting to overwhelm her.
Caladan
"I must apologize to you for the way you were brought in, the people that did it have been taken care of." He drew his sword that was on his hip, and sliced the ropes off of her wrists. "I'm sorry about your brother, and I will take you to see his body if you wish. I have followed all the customary elven customs for the dead, and he is in state right now." He undid her binds, and then lead her out of the room.
"You are a very beautiful young maiden Rajani, and I look forward to you being my queen in all ways. I think that the people of your kingdom will be more friendly to me when they see that they're princess is all right, and now in as the queen." He smiled at her and lead her to where her brothers body was.
From the state of the body, she could tell that he had fallen in battle, and not at the hand of an assassin or being stabbed in the back.
At first when she saw the sword reach up it made her flinch a little, uncertain of his intentions. Once the rope was cut, she would have fallen hard if it wasn't for his body being right there. Used him for a moment to steady herself, gain some feeling back into her hands and feet before attempting to walk.
"Thank you...M'Lord"
Was all she could manage to say. Just before Rajani followed him, she found a blanket in the corner of the room and wrapped it around herself. Bad enough one to many has seen her in this state, she didn't need the rest of people seeing her in such a manner.
It was only when Rajani saw her brother laying there, she allowed the tears of built up emtions to be free. They were only silent tears, she knew his end was near. The price of her hand would have been his death in the end. This Rajani knew. Found the necklace her father had given him, even though it was soaked in blood, she took it as a keep sake. The pendant of two circling dragons is the last of her family now.
"Again thank you for treating his body with respect."
Lowered her gaze from her new King, not really wanting him see her crying. Rajani was always to strong for tears.
"Is there a room for me.... I would like to freshen up... Perhaps even something to eat... Unless there is something you wish of me now. M' King."
Rajani didn't look up, it wasn't something she was used to. For now, she didn't know him and she wanted to show some respect towards him.
Caladan
Caladan lifted her chin and smiled at her. "Yes, I will show you to a room, where you can freshen up, and also where you will find some clothes that will fit you. In fact your wardrobe has been brought over from your old castle, and is in your room now. If you would like to join me for lunch after you get freshened up that would be nice, if not, I can have the cook send you up something. I know that this is hard, but what woud you like done with the body?"
She looked into Caladans' eyes for a moment, seeking his true intentions. All she really saw was the kindness he was showing her now. Rajani gave a light smile as he told her about her things being brought here. Some how it didnt surprise her, news travels fast in the lands. Also, Caladan must have known he'd win. Rajani was trying to remember him, remember where she has seen him before. Being royalty, it could have been a good number of places.
IT was then her thoughts were distrupted by her brother. Caladans' question brought her back to the real moment. Looking over shoulder back to her brothers lifeless body.
"Just like our father... Send him out to sea in a boat full of fire."
She ran her fingers over her brothers face, turning to kiss him lightly on his lips. With that, she turned towards the door and waited to follow Caladan to her room.
Caladan
Caladan nodded, and had one of the guards make the arrangements. "It will be done at night fall." He led her to a oppulant room that had her stuff still in bags sitting by her bed. "The bathroom is through that door over there, and as you can see, your stuff is all right here. You will be using this room until our wedding, which will be in 2 months, after the proper mourning period for you to have for your brother." He then stood there waiting to see what she thought of the room.
The room was supreme as she looked into it. Course it was nothing like her room at home, but it will do in the mean time. The furniture was beautifully carved red oak, there were so many designs she didn't know where to begin. It was much bigger than she thought it would be the more she walked around.
"It's a beautiful room M' King."
Rajani didn't waste another minute before starting to look the chests, finding a more suitable robe to replace the blanket. Once she gathered a few things turning back to the door where Caladan still stood.
"I appreciate all your kindness. I shall join you for lunch once I am done here."
With that she walked past him to where he indicated the bath would be. The servants were just finishing preparing the steaming water as she walked it. They were getting ready to take her robe and serve her, all Rajani did was excuse them. She needed to be alone for now. Wasted no time getting into the very inviting bath, the hot water felt incredible against her sore body. Thoughts of what could have happen, of what did happen, and now her current situation were clouding the focus she normally would have.
After a short while Rajani got out of the bath and went back to her room. Pulled out a few dresses, picking one of her favorites. It was just a simple dress made of royal blue silk. For now she didn't need any of the more fancier ones. Although, in the end, Rajani made the mistake of sitting on the bed. It was amazingly soft and it has been a at least two nights that she knew about since she slept in a real bed. While admiring the material of the sheets and pillows, Rajani found herself laying down and drifting off to sleep.
Caladan
Caladan was getting worried for his young fiancee. He sent one of the servants up to check on her, and when they had come back he had to smile. He dismissed the servant and finisshed up his lunch, before getting a tray of food for Rajani, and bringing it up to her. He set the tray on a side table, and then sat down on the bed beside her. He placed a hand on her shoulder gently shaking her awake. "I'm sorry for awaking you when you looked so peaceful, but I thought you might want some lunch. If you would prefer, I will let you sleep, and leave this here for you for when you wake up. It's just sandwiches, and a glass of elven wine."
Rajani was dreaming of her home, mostly in the younger years where she had no worries. It took a moment before she realized someone was waking her up. In the dream it was her brother picking on her and playfuly shaking and pulling her around.
Though when she opened her eyes, there was that stranger again. Course he was barely touching her, unlike the dream. For a moment Rajani had to smirk at that thought while sitting up.
"It's alright, I didn't mean to fall asleep. Just been to much today, guess it just finally caught up to me."
She took the sandwiches and started to eat for the first time since being here. That too has been at least two days since she has last eaten, and she knew how hungry she really was. She ate the food slowly, one not wanting to make a scene and two, if she ate to fast she knew she'd just make herself sick.
"How long have I been here?"
Caladan
Caladan looked at her with a look. "Well you have been here about 4 days. The final battle ended a week ago, and I'm sorry that you haven't been told about it before now. I was just told that you were here this morning, and I had to take care of the people that treated you like they did before I came down to get you."
Rajani couldn't believe that she was put in that room for four days. Let alone refuse to eat for that long. It was no wonder she was so out of it right now.
"Four days? I've been missing for four days.... What of my lands, with Dameon off to war.. now dead.. Me missing. There's no one there in my place. You were obviously at war, my people have been without leadership for four days... soon to be two months?"
Rajani knew her kingdom well enough to not have any serious stress. But without anyone at the throne, now all her things here, she didn't want them to believe she had just abandon them.
"What happens to me now? I am to be a queen by your side, I know that much... But am I an equal to you. Or just a prize.. a prisoner.. I suppose is the better word for it? My lands are clearly yours as well, yet there is no one there to watch over them while I remain here. What of that?"
She had so many questions, four days isn't really that long of a time. Just it happened at such a bad time. Two kings down, they were still mourning and trying to deal with all that their father had left, now she had to pick up the peices of her brothers actions.
"I'm sorry... I don't mean to be rude and I'm sure you have it all figured out. It's just no one has said anything at all to me since they brought me here."
Rajani stood up taking off the robe and started to put on the dress she picked out. Normally she wouldn't get dressed in front of others, but he has already seen her and soon he'll be seeing her this way more often. Once the dress was on she lifted her hair and turned her back towards Caladan,
"Would you mind tieing this off for me? Normally my servants would do it, but, well, since your here."
Also she wanted him to do it anyway mainly so she could get used to having him near her. Rajani has only known her father and brother, it wasn't easy for her to have a stranger near her like this.
Caladan
Caladan nodded and tied it up for her. "I have sent a messenger off to the castle to let them know that you are all right, and that I am now the king. They also know that your going to be the queen, ruling with me as an equal in both kingdoms. We were neighboring kingdoms, and I still have no idea why your brother attacked my kingdom, our kingdoms had always been friendly back when our parents ruled. I have a suggestion, if your willing to accept it. We combine the two kingdoms, and run them as one kingdom, instead of two separate ones, better for defense and easier on both of us for while we run it." He smiled and finished off tying it up. "You look beautiful in that dress, I like it."
Rajani was starting to remember where she has seen him before. But it has been years. It was for on e of her birthday balls that her father threw. Since then, things have been so hetic that there hasn't been anytime for celebrations like that. Even so all she did was shrug it off, that was then this is now.
"My brother was a fool. He had many bad resources. With him it was just about wars, one little word is all it took. Chances are he heard that you were going to challenge him for my hand, or some uncalled for rumor."
She was tired of making excuses for him, even in death she was still trying to defend him.
"Anyway. I am sure the people won't miss him as much as they do my father. Dameon wasn't on the throne long enough. And within the year that he was, he managed to pull off 4 wars. That is far to many for just one year. Me and my father were always the peace makers."
After caladan was done with the dress, she went over to another chest and pulled out a long silver chain. Using it as a belt, loosly around her waist to give the dress a little more.
"Thank you, it's one of my favorite dresses."
When she looked up, catching his gaze Rajani couldn't help but smile. Despite not knowing how to take all this in, he was showing her the respect and kindness she didn't expect.
"And I think it would be a great idea to combine the kingdoms."
"So.... Do I get the grand tour of my new home? And I think this should call for a celebration as well. I dont' feel I need two months, if you wish we can get things prepared sooner."
She really didn't want to have two months of mourning over her brother, she loved him, but there were far to many things to be done instead of dwelling over him.
Caladan
"Whenever your ready for the wedding then will be fine. I just need a weeks notice, so we can let the guests know when it is. Come along, I will give you the grand tour." He offered her his arm, and led her around the castle. No it wasn't as grand and big as the one where she was living in before, but it was still done right. "Those chambers that you have right now are the guest quarters, once we're married, you will be staying in here with me of course." He showed her the master bedroom suite. It was huge, a big four poster bed with the royal crest carved into the headboard, beautifully carved and designed furniture.
"Please don't get the wrong idea, this was just the closest place to start the tour. through here you have the bathroom, and over there you have your own walk in closet. Now down this way are the main meeting and greeting rooms, the dining room, kitchens, library and all the other places of interest. Now the pride of mine is the stables. We have some beautiful Moon Horses stabled here."
He showed her around the groundss, and stables before leading her back inside for dinner that night. "So what do you think of the place?"
the whole area was beauitful. All she really knew was the land she owned. There has been times where Rajani would wonder what other kingdoms looked like, the different tastes of culture that lived there. Although it wasn't as big as her lands, it was a perfect fit.
"It's so beautiful here, It seems so tranquil out here. Perhaps we can take the horses out tomorrow for a ride. There's so much I want to see. My father and brother never allowed me outside the castle walls."
It was then she looked out to the sea, watching the figures preparing Dameons boat and body. For a moment she thought about seeing him off, then realized it was probably for the best that she didn't. Remembering her father that way was hard enough.
"Shall we go eat?"
Looking up to Caladan with a smile, Rajani could tell already that it won't be so bad being this mans wife... But, she's only known him for a day. Although, there had been rumors about him. Even her father liked this one. That said alot right there.
Caladan
Caladan smiled. 'Yah, lets go get some supper, and then we can do whatever you want. Tomorrow would be great for a ride and maybe a picnic." He smiled
Despite everything she has been threw the past few days, she was starting to feel better and more free already. Once she sends word out about Dameon and one last time the apologizes for all he has caused, she would be able move on.
After she was done eating, Rajani sent a servent over to where they were playing soft dinner music. Just as the servant left, Rajani stood up and went to Caladan, holding out her hand.
"Care to join me in a dance?"
She really didn't know why she was doing this, for once though she wanted to let everything bad to disappear.
Caladan
Caladan smiled and nodded. "The music is beuatiful isn't it." He stood, and took her hand as they went to dance. There was some room in the dining room for dancing, and he had enjoyed dancing, like all elves did.
Rajani was moved by how beautiful the dancing room was. There was a servant putting out some of the candles, to dim the room. As if setting the mood for some reason. Rajani wasn't sure if she was ready for that kind of mood yet. But as of right now, it did actually feel good to be with him. In a strange kind of way.
"I'm surprised you don't recognize it. It was the one that was playing when I had seen you at one of my birthday parties."
She smiled, it was a shy kind of smile. But she did remember what she felt when for the first ... and last.. time ever seeing him. Course Rajani never told anyone, it was her little secret and part of her was glad that it was him that won over her brother.
