I am not really a writer but I had this idea after reading a chyoo way back, like two years ago and thought I'd toss it out there for anyone who's interested.
There was a similar story called "How I Became a Cheerleader" but that was much more consensual than what I have in mind.
The concept is pretty basic. A short, slender, effeminate young man is a social outcast in his rough, rural high school, maybe in Texas as football is big there. Though he isn't gay, everyone assumes that he is because he is such a sissy and also a nerd, so nobody is much interested in getting to know the real him.
His life is very difficult until the day that the team quarterback and local hero "comes out of the closet". He can't keep "living a lie" so he makes a speech, affirming his sexuality at some public function and confesses that what he really wants is a cute little t-girl to be his "girlfriend".
At first, the town doesn't know what to do but this guy is the local hero and people love him so they take a leap and are very accepting of him. As a sign of their support, the football team turns to the only other person they "know" is gay and bullies him into being a "girl" from now on.
"She" is given outfits by local girls and a cheerleader uniform and is forced to join the team.
Some scenes I have thought about include the couple in a parked car on prom night and other typical high school functions as the new t-girl slowly comes to accept her new life and the love of her boyfriend.
I was also thinking that football players often get under the table gifts from prospective schools and that might include a boob job for his girlfriend, though it is possible that the town takes up a collection to make that happen earlier in the story.
Finally, I'll just say that I see this happening in high school but it would probably work just as well, if not better, in college.
