For you workout buffs...

Oh I could like this thread a lot. A whole lot. I'm the exact freak of nature from most of you guys. No matter what I do, no matter what I eat....I can not put weight on. I weighed 118 pounds at graduation and now, 25 (almost) years later I wiegh 160 pounds. Now, before anyone out there starts hacking on me, I'm 6 feet tall and at 118 pounds, I looked like a walking skeleton.

Y'all might think my situation is cool and would love to swap places, but think again. I have little body fat and that causes two problems:

Poorly lubed joints and that means pain and degredation.

Winters are a real bitch and anything below 70 degrees and I'm not just cold, but horribly cold.

That all being said...I've studied diets just as fanatically as many of the people here that want to loose wieght.

Zilla You can bring your metabolism under control by spreading your meals out and actually eating more meals per day but not increasing the amount of calories. Does that make any sense?

Do you also get bruises easily? I find that my hip bones and on my back along my spine are always so sore and bruised. If I take a bath the bones in my back will be tender for 2 days from laying on a hard surface. No padding.

I have been trying to spread my meals out and eat more but it's not going too well. Old habits die hard I guess.
