Happy Birthday!!!!! I hope this year is better than the last

Last night the sunset was amazing, like the sky was on fire and I took some pictures for you

my favorite co worker was up front yelling, you must see this and the owner and I were going yeah, yeah, because she often wants us to watch the sunset

would could kind of see a bit from where we were sitting, but we had no idea that it was that incredible

but somehow she convinced us to go look, and we were amazed

The poics don't really do it justice. Just imagine that everywhere is stratified with dark blue and red, all over the sky, not just ahead but above you as well

and tonight, to top it off when I got home from work a friend called and said go outside, look NW. I saw an aurora borealis from my street in the city!!!!!!

It was amazing, really, intense greens and blues streaking across the sky, to the Nw and above me, all of a sudden there would be light, some pinks, oh it was so beautiful, I wish you could have seen it with me.

I was calling everyone I knew here telling them to get outside and see it!

I couldn't get any pictures with my phone, they just didn't work at all, but maybe tomorrow I will go out with a camera and a tripod to try to capture some of it for you, if it isn't too cloudy.

These are absolutely gorgeous pics...
thanks so much for the running commentary. Really... it adds alot to viewing pics when you know the story behind them
I, for one, appreciate it ;)

I second you on this babydoll.

Thank you Noor for sharing with us. I always said I'd love to be an artist for a day to capture the beauty of nature around me.

So do it, just do it :p

A dragon found

Found on a blog back in mid-october:

"In return for this nice girl getting me a copy of a very hard to find track, I'm drawing her a picture. She's requested a dragon as a kind of imaginary companion for a friend of hers who's been suffering from depression. A good cause, I think. So I'm drawing a dragon hiking through hills, since this friend like rambling."

The Hiking Dragon

I hope the friend likes it.

I think the dragon is terribly cute.

we had our first snow saturday

of course it lasted only long enough for me to have to unbury the car to get to work ;) Its been a little below freezing since but the sun is too strong during the day. Some nice ice around though.

I took a picture for you.

My brother has been visiting from Europe so we have seen a couple "undubbed" movies while he is here.

Saw "Finding Neverland" a few days ago which I highly recommend that you see. It is a serious drama but I think you'll enjoy it. I know you will appreciate neverland. ;)

Tonight we saw "House of Flying dragons." It is a chinese journey fight film, with women in major roles!!! Some very nice special effects. I liked it a lot too.

Its been a bit chilly here

we had minus 12 F, that's 23C, I think.

It was kind of bad, my back two tires of my car had rim leaks due to the cold.
First day I filled them up at minus 10, only to find them down the next morning, so I took them in to be fixed, more money I don't have but filling tires at 10 below is really hard. Of course once I had them fix, the temp rises :)

This morning it was minus 10 and has been rising all day upto 10 ยฐF / -12 ยฐC tonight!

Despite the balmy temps our delivery guy is still wearing his short trousers, so I took a picture for you when he came to the shop today.

The windchill has been 30 below, exposed flesh is supposed to freeze on contact, this is one more reason why I suspect these guys are not really human.

Oh I forgot- Merry Christmas :rose:

A new pic for you. I went to a Halloween party last night and there were all sorts of interesting food.

A woman in a black dress, wearing cat eye contact lens made these lady fingers that I thought you would enjoy seeing.
