For those whom I bored about cricket

I'm still not going to take seriously a sport where a couple of the positions have the word 'Silly' in them. ;)

However, I'm completely down with the hard-balling.

:D

Cricket and cookies and diet coke and batting cages. You've sold me on it. ;)

I wouldn't call it ruining. I'd say I was an upstanding member of the community when I met you.

So what would you call someone standing 5-6 feet away from a guy with a willow hammer slamming hard leather at your face. Sensible? (real reason for position being called silly)

If he is a useless pommy bastard you can call him/her anything you like.

Egads,

I just tried to read the rules for Cricket.

I have read less convoluted directions sent out by the U.S. Government.

I'll stick with Slow Pitch Co-ed Softball where I can play without thinking and even get the occasional chance to grab and or grope a cute opposing team mate.

You were repeatedly upstanding ... perfect :cathappy: ... a perfect gentleman ... didn't fail on a single occassion. Even when I fell and busted my hiney. :D

"Goodnight."

Cricket is rather boring but the young men who play it are usually intelligent, athletic and very yummy in their white cricket uniforms. :) And they just love to explain the rules to a woman who just cant get her head around it all!

30 years ago I learned why it's called "silly mid off" when my wrist was broken while I was fielding in that position.
