My Mom went over my head and put in a phone call, the people at the drom were really hoping to it, cos of the previous complaint on the guy. In fact, the former roommate came by today, and I talked to him, nice guy, probably a new friend, and he said that basically, it an get a whole lot worse with these guys.

So I'm going roommate shopping. I've had dinner with a 28 yo Japaneese man who's here learning english.

Anyways, The Nic Cage character of the movie is always chasing a metaphorical Unicorn, something that you can come close to but can't quite have.

Today, I found a guy, he lived neatly, he played videogames, he didn't smoke, he had studious suitemates, he even had a copy of Dogma laying around.

So, I go in, explain to him what's going on and why I'm moving, etc. and so he looks like he's going to be ok with it... and then he pauses and then turns to his friend and asks "Hey, don't you hate YOUR roommates?"

Well... needless to say, I didn't get the room. But, I'd do the same thing in his situation.

Yeah, it's really been amazing, we lucked out in that this dorm is willing to listen to use and move us around. Course- there could be any number of reasons for that.

Today I got nowhere. I emailed them last night for more options, so far: No response.

So, I'm going to go home this weekend and catch up with my homies, watch the Rumble, watch my old HS's play, etc, bringing along my comp to play with (I'm such a geek)

On a more positive note: Microeconomics today was fun.
