For those of you who have met lovers on Lit

Pretty much a year and some of all of those things. Talking online every day, sending pm's, e mails and nightly telephone calls. When the time was right, plane tickets were bought. Tres easy.

How exactly did it come about? Flirting, PM'n, phone sex??? Then what?

Intelligent replies to threads I started led to PMs which led to IMs, in-person meeting, an astonished realization that we think in exceedingly compatible ways, a sharing of life goals confirming this. Certain experiences while still new demonstrated our character to each other, and however unrealistically we quickly tried out te ramifications, emotionally and otherwise, that sharing a last name would bring.
We found a place together and have been buying furniture together and now share a telephone number. Our, or at least my, fantastical expectations of who she is have given way to a more genuine sense of appreciation for her, which causes me oddly to hope this time now will go by more quickly so that having known each other for such a short time will be gotten over.

Oh, yeah...and the sex has been so hot you could weld with it.

Poetry, books, tales of readings and concerts and NYC in the east and luscious fog pouring thru the Golden Gate in the west.

Honesty.

Music.

First it was some talking and flirting and then she asked me to be her boyfriend and we have talked on the phone and PMs and emails and this summer we are going to meet and she said she is going to keep me in bed for days.

And i am going to love it because she makes some wonderful noises when she is cumming.

Four years  Damn I thought I was careful. You make me look like a slut. :D

Well neither of us thought much of meeting over the Internet and just assumed what we were experiencing was a crush, which (as a rule) has a short lifespan. So we decided to just enjoy it until it passed. A couple of years later we realized we had to re-think our plan ;)

Well it sounds like you were very prudent and careful. Which is a good thing. Crushes don't last four years. :D

Did you just say you got married? 'Cause I can't understand you most of the time.

I think he sent me a PM (in January 2003), and included his AOL/AIM handle in it and we started chatting a bit online. An email here and there, then phone calls that led to asking me out on a date, and after that first date(March 22, 2003) we were a couple.

I said I liked his poem, he bought me a digital drink. We've been together ever since.

You can pick up chicks here??

jesus I need to rethink my whole attitude
