Name: Clark, Adrian Ade Clark
Height: 6 foot
Build: broad, stocky, a former rugby player he still exercised on his bike mostly but middle age spread was gaining momentum on im.
Hair: Dark, partially bald
Eyes: Sea blue
Profession: IT Manager for a small firm of solicitors

It was early Friday evening of a cold February day, as he rang the doorbell. It was a friend's birthday, and so they were hosting a small get together. Not quite as intimate as a dinner party, nor as busy as a full blown party.

Adrian and Jane had known Sarah since university, approaching 30 or so years ago, and had maintained their friendship. He wore a black tie, whilst Jane his wife wore a simple wrap over cocktail style dress, with a plunging neckline, her cleavage obscured by the black silk lace of her camisole.

They entered the property, being let in by Carle, Sarah's husband. They were soon in the kitchen chatting away, the sounds of footsteps in the bathroom above.

"Excuse the elephant upstairs" Sarah chuckled. She knew her daughter had just returned from uni for the weekend, to be at her birthday gathering.

For a while Adrian ended up talking with Carle.

"Could you do me a favour please this weekend and see if you can help with Sara's laptop?"

"Sure what's up?" Adrian replied.

Carle went on to explain that the strap to Sara's bag broke, causing the bag to fall on the ground and damage the laptop. He wasn't expecting the laptop to be repairable, but Meera had data on her hard drive which wasn't backed up.

"Has she got a new laptop yet? Surely she needs it for her graphic studies?"

Carle shrugged his shoulders. "That is her problem!"

The two continued to chat as Carle explained that Sara had decided not to take out any form of student insurance to save $150 or so dollars. And so her laptop was uninsured.

He argued why should they be her insurance policy..

"So Carle, let me get this straight. Sara's laptop is broken, beyond economical repair, and you won't help her replace it? With her finals and her dissertation deadline looming?"

"Well she is 22, in control of her own destiny, her own finances. If she chose not to renew her insurance to save $150, why should we become her insurance policy?"

Adrian looked at his friend scornfully. "I do believe you are being a tad harsh on her, Carle, though I do see your logic, appreciate where you are coming from."

"But yes I will look at her laptop and see if I can recover her data... "

At that moment Sara came down the stairs; and Adrian turned to look at her in her attire, looking as alluring as ever he thought.

.

Sara was a curvy blonde who just barely stood 5'7" in high heels. She came downstairs in a pale blue cocktail dress that hugged her figure without showing off too much skin. She had made the drive up from campus for her dad's birthday, and to talk to them again about helping out with the new laptop. For the last two weeks, she'd had to use the campus computer center for everything, and it was getting frustrating. The computers were slow, the room smelled of nerdsweat and she had been approached several times by guys so creepy she was afraid to walk back to her dorm.

She knew she could get a decent refurbished machine for a few hundred dollars, but she had already taken out the maximum amount of student loans, and even though she was picking up extra shifts at the restaurant she waited tables at, she had bills to pay and the idea of going further into debt was terrifying.

They'd argued about it again that afternoon, and gotten nowhere, and she couldn't help resenting them a little. They had chosen to let her pay for college on her own, and there was mom in a new dress that obviously cost more than a new laptop would have, but "It's your responsibility," and "You should have taken the insurance," was all she got. As if she'd had 150 bucks for insurance after mortgaging the rest of her life to pay the fees for a semester.

Of course Dad pointed out that she could have gone to a state school instead of the more prestigious private college, but she had been so stupid and optimistic. Now she was in her last year and she couldn't transfer out.

At the bottom of the stairs she saw Adrian Clark with her parents, all looking up at her. Mom looked annoyed, Dad looked stubborn, and Adrian looked... funny. She smiled and kissed her Dad on the cheek.

"Happy birthday," she said. There was no point in bringing it back up now.

"It's nice to see you," she said to Adrian, leaning in to brush her cheek against his.

.

Adrian accepted Sara's brief kiss on the cheek and returend the complement.

"Hope you are well?"

He remembered why he found he alluring. I wasn't that she was stunning beautiful, but she had a natural figure, and a cute smile. She was for the most part down to earth, though she could be a tempestuous individual when she wanted to be.

"I'm good," she said, with a glance at her mother, who was glowering at her. As if she was going to drag everything back up now and ruin her dad's party. She smiled at Adrian. He had been one of her parents closest friends since before she was born, and she had known him as long as she could remember. He was always nice, and he always seemed to understand how ridiculously cheap her parents were. She remembered a few times as a child when she'd been told she couldn't have something, that it had turned up anyway. She had always suspected 'uncle' Adrian had something to do with it. "How have you been?"

.

"ah all good here really thank you, though been busy with work upgrading our network and servers at work...."

He paused as he sipped his wine.

"I gather you have had PC troubles? I'm happy to see if I can recover any data of your hard drive."

She smiled at him.

"That would be good, I guess," she said hesitantly. She leaned closer and spoke softly, so her parents wouldn't hear. "I was able to get most of the files, but some of the software is pretty expensive, and I don't know how to pull working copies off. And I don't have anywhere to put them if I could."

.

"Well let me see what I can do regarding data and uninstalling your software...... As long as it is genuine and you have licence numbers, should not be a problem" smiling as she spoke.

"Why don't you come round Sunday morning when Jane is out for a few hours? I will see what I can do, what sort of replacement machine are you looking for? You are studying graphic arts and photography from what I recall?"

As he finished speaking, Jane came and joined them, and the conversation naturally turned onto a new topic.

.

"Great," she said, smiling. She didn't think much of it. Jane had never really liked her. They exchanged pleasantries and then Sara excused herself to mingle with the other guests.

Sunday morning, she worked out and drove over after a shower. She wore shorts and a tight little tank top that was sheer enough to show her lacy black bra. It was typical of what girls wore around campus, and she didn't think it was anything unusual.

.

Adrian was in the downstaris study/den area when he heard the doorbell. Wearing a pair of loose swim-shorts and a fleece top, he headed over to the front door and saw Sara.

"Well, good morning Sara, please come in...."

He looked at her and smiled, her shaply legs were on display as she wore a pair of shorts that did not leave much to the imagination.

He lead her down into the kitchen, a room she had been in before.

"Tea or coffee?"

He saw a shoulder bag with a laptop poking out of the opening.

She walked into the kitchen and sat at the table, setting her bag by her feet and leaning down to get her laptop out. She smiled at him, not realizing how much cleavage she was showing.

"Tea would be wonderful, thank you."

She pulled the laptop out, and showed it to him. It had been a top of the line graphics machine four years ago, when she had started college. It had stayed relevant, more than capable of keeping up with what was required by her classes, if a little slow trying to run the latest software. At least, until a few weeks ago. Now it was beyond repair. The monitor was a splintered mess and the lower half was cracked open, the hard drive exposed and scratched. She set it on the table with a doubtful look, and then took out a notebook. She flipped through a few pages til she reached one with today's date written at the top.

"This has all the serial numbers and passcodes that I could find," she said.

.

Adrian saw the codes and nodded.

"Looks positively useful" he offered as he started to make a pot of tea for Sara, and a latte for himself using the Espresso machine.

OFFice and the like, Adrian wasn't bothered with, he had several spare licences that the could use via work if he had to, but it was her specific course related software that would be the bigger challenge.

He picked up the laptop and grinned.

"Yep, definitely beyond economical repair. Did you say you had all your data from the hard drive, or do you want me to see if I can rescue some?"

Sarah sat and sipped her tea as he set to work.

“Yes,” she said. “I backed all my files up on the cloud. The trouble is to work with anything, I need to have the software installed on a machine that can run it efficiently. I can’t install it on the machines at school, and the programs they do have are so clunky it’s like driving a dumptruck in a street race.”

She sighed. “I really do appreciate your help, but I don’t know there’s really much you can do. I need a new computer. I’ll probably take next semester off and try to pick up a few extra shifts.”

.

“Yes,” she said. “I backed all my files up on the cloud. The trouble is to work with anything, I need to have the software installed on a machine that can run it efficiently. I can’t install it on the machines at school, and the programs they do have are so clunky it’s like driving a dumptruck in a street race.”

"Well at least you have backed it up on the cloud, well done you. So many people do not back any of their data up at all!" he replied nodding as he listened to her.

“I really do appreciate your help, but I don’t know there’s really much you can do. I need a new computer. I’ll probably take next semester off and try to pick up a few extra shifts.”

"That doesn't sound good.... I have an old laptop that you could possibly use but it is only good these days for surfin and basic word processing, not graphic stuff....."

He paused as he sipped his coffee as he pondered.

"What sort of machine would you be wanting? another laptop or a desktop? Both have pros and cons...."

"If I could have any computer?" she said. "Another laptop, but the ones that have the kind of power I need are like a thousand bucks. I could get a desktop with a lot more juice and a better monitor for about half that, but then I'm stuck in one place."

She shook her head, going over the numbers again. She just wouldn't be able to get the cash she needed without working a lot more, but she wouldn't have the time to work more while she was taking a full course load and doing her graphics work in the computer lab.

"I just don't see any way I can afford it on top of everything else. It's just one semester."

.

"I just don't see any way I can afford it on top of everything else. It's just one semester."

"Yes.... standard laptops are almost free these days compared to ten years or so ago.. But you are right, hi-performance laptops are still expensive......."

He paused as he sippe dhis wine, and connected the Hard drive to his Linux PC, and soon was able to access the drive,

"Well the data seems okay Sara..... "

He turned to face her. "And I guess an interest free loan wouldn't help? I could possibly buy you one, but could you $100 bucks a month for ten months?"

.

"Buy me one?" she echoed, staring at him. She giggled and then covered her mouth. "Seriously?"

He had always been kind to her, understanding about her trouble with her parents, but this was different. She bit her lip.

"Yeah," she said. "I could probably swing a hundred bucks a month." She wasn't actually sure if she would be able to, but she'd figure something out. She would have the laptop. That was the main thing. She'd be able to graduate on time.

She grinned at him, a little awed by his generosity, when she wasn't even his own child. "You'd really do that for me?"

.

He met her eyes as she smiled slightly; her voice sounded slightly upbeat.

"And what would you prefer, a CAD desktop or a high performance laptop? A desktop will always have more CPU and disk storage than a laptop. and a larger higher resolution screen."

He was pondering whether he should make his other suggestion, which would mean that she would not have to pay him back at all; at least with cash.

"I'd love a laptop," she said. "It might take a few more months to pay you back, but I'd be able to go out and work in coffee shops and such. And this time, I'd buy the insurance."

"If, you know, you decide you want to," she added, not wanting to assume that he was going to do this while he was still thinking it over. Still, she was too excited to sit. She stood up and paced around the kitchen, nervously.

.

He inhaled deeply...... and when he spoke he sounded slightly apprehensive.

"Well I was also thinking that $100 a month is about 13 or 15 hours a month work at a coffee house.... So that would be quit a time burden on you and your studies for sure..."

He paused again, inhaling.

"But what If I was to help you by buying you the laptop you want, and you help me?"

He looked at her eyes.

.

She paused when she heard him talking about the money. There was something off. He was right, of course, it would mean a few extra hours work, but it was manageable.

"It's fine," she said, turning to him. Her eyes were wide, pleading, desperate. "Really, I'll figure something out."

Then he took a deep breath and asked if she could help him. She hesitated. There was something going on, but she couldn't figure out what. But he was talking about giving her a top of the line laptop in return for a favor, and she rolled her eyes at her own stupidity. What could he possibly ask for that she wouldn't give?

"Well, yeah," she said, grinning. "I'd be happy to help you out."

.

"Well, yeah," she said, grinning. "I'd be happy to help you out."

He gulped slightly. She was keen, but then she didn't appreciate what his help was. He stood up and walked over to the window, before turning to face her.

"Well Sara, A friend of ours, who will rename nameless, was out and about, when some young female started to talk to him. Basically she seduced him, not that I suspect he needed much encouragement......"

"And well that had got me thinking recently"

He looked at her, awaiting her reaction to his unorthodox proposal.

"And so, if you would help me; then well I would be more than happy to help you with your laptop predicament..."

.

Sara cocked her head and looked at him. He hadn't exactly told her what he wanted, and the story that he had told only confused her more. Why would he tell her a story about a girl seducing a guy old enough to be her dad, unless....

"Oh," she said, her mouth opening in shock. "Oh. You mean, you want me to...." She blushed fiercely, and found that she was unable to finish the thought. But her mind was racing. She needed the computer, badly, and money was so tight. She had student loan debts and credit cards and now this.

"You mean, you'd just give me the computer as a ... like a gift?" she said. "A good one?" He obviously knew at least as much about computers as she did. He knew what she wanted. She look a deep breath. Then she stood up.

"I'd be so very, very grateful," she said. She bit her lip, hesitating for a moment, and then she reached down and undid the top button of her shorts. "I'd have to find some way to thank you." She pulled the rest of the buttons open, exposing a glimpse of her underwear. She giggled. If she'd known she was going to be undressing for him, she wouldn't have worn her Hello Kitty! thong.

.

Adrian looked at Sara as the penny dropped. Moments later she approached as she spoke.

"I'd be so very, very grateful," she said. She bit her lip, hesitating for a moment, and then she reached down and undid the top button of her shorts. "I'd have to find some way to thank you."

"Sara, Jane is away next weekend....."

He paused..

"I imagine you coming round knowing that Jane is indeed away, and well seduce me, spend the night with me.... If you help me with that, I would be more than happy to buy you the laptop of your dreams....."

Nervously he started to make more coffee....

"Next weekend?" she said. He turned away and started making coffee. She blushed and buttoned her shorts back up, confused. She frowned at his back. Next weekend?

"Mister Clark," she said, slowly, thinking through what had just happened. She had been about to sleep with her dad's best friend for a laptop. She'd started undressing, but he was talking about setting something up next weekend. It wasn't spontaneous, thank-you fuck, but an arrangement. He was asking her to be a whore.

"You know what?" she said. "I don't think this is a very good idea." She hesitated, looking at him.

"I mean, I'd have to take the weekend off from work, again," she said. "I'd be late on the rent, again. I'd have to lie to my parents, and to Jane. I mean, you wouldn't want them finding out about this conversation, would you? If you're going to make me your whore, Mister Clark, you should at least offer me enough so it's worth it. Why don't you get a laptop and ship it to my dorm, and if I like it, I won't tell your wife. Maybe I'll come up this weekend to talk about how you can help me out with my other bills."

.

He made two coffees as he listened to her outburst, and the hint of black mail. He knew her anger, frustration was well founded. He kept quiet as she finished, allowing the room to descend into silence, other than the sound of coffee beans being ground, and milk being steamed. He placed the coffees on the table, one in front of Sara.

Moments later, he had his phone in his hand and selected Jane's number before placing the phone on the table.

"How do you know that Jane isn't involved in this proposal some how Sara? After all, a thousand bucks is easily missing from a bank account...." His eyes met hers and stared at her.

"You have an option to work over a hundred hours in your coffee house, or to spend 18 hours with me?"

Reaching for the Ipad, he was soon on Amazon selecting the top of the range I7 gaming laptops for around $900.

"Which model takes your fancy?" he asked, showing her the options availbable.
