A hot naïve singer girl joins a band. There is a talented male guitarist whose only goal is to get his music out there. A dumb jock drummer, who is clueless. A cute shy asian girl keyboardist. Finally, a bassist who is kind of creepy, but is into fame and marketing. He manipulates everyone into trying to get the band as HUGE as possible. That includes getting the girls to attract the male fans of the band. You can build up slowly, get the keyboardist to start with twitch leading to eventually streaming. The singer can be a waitress to make ends meet, which leads to maybe eventually stripping. They can release a sextape without the girls knowing. They can do some sexy stuff on stage. Etc...

My opinon: If you take a band as the background, then the music should play an important role for the story, otherwise you could take any other setting.

I have an unfinished story on the stack where a new female singer is invited to join a band. The band is getting really famous, because they are able to deliver a special groove on stage, unlike any other existing formation.

The singer is very nervous and unsure. But the night before her first live performance she is invited by the band for the traditional pre-concert-dinner. This dinner mutates into an orgy, involving all band members. They fuck all night and connect on every possible level, body, heart and soul. So that´s the secret behind the special ability. She is so fulfilled and turned on the next day that she rocks the audience in a way she never has thought of possible before.
