Honestly it would depend on how exactly you want to find a third. If you want to find a friend to join you two in bed there is no actual easier, all a matter of asking the friends you both could stand to get naked with.

If you want to find some stranger at a bar or club, it depends on who you want to add, another woman probably would be easier for him to find, another man so would be easier for her to find.

Now if you are going to do a personal ad, well totally easier for her, there are something like 19 men for every one actually looking woman. Granted you have to be up front with have a guy and want to add a third, pictures are good and you will have to wade through a bunch of guys who assume there is no actual boyfriend/husband. At least that's what I've heard I've never done a threesome personal, I have done personals and well dang it's kinda daunting the number of messages I got.

in my experience it was MF looking for F and it was all organised by the M via online sites
