There is a new anthology out consisting of 34 stories set in the world of The Stand, with the approval of Stephen King.

The authors included are Wayne Brady and Maurice Broaddus, Poppy Z. Brite, Somer Canon, C. Robert Cargill, Nat Cassidy, V. Castro, Richard Chizmar, S. A. Cosby, Tananarive Due and Steven Barnes, Meg Gardiner, Gabino Iglesias, Jonathan Janz, Alma Katsu, Caroline Kepnes, Michael Koryta, Sarah Langan, Joe R. Lansdale, Tim Lebbon, Josh Malerman, Ronald Malfi, Usman T. Malik, Premee Mohamed, Cynthia Pelayo, Hailey Piper, David J. Schow, Alex Segura, Bryan Smith, Paul Tremblay, Catherynne M. Valente, Bev Vincent, Catriona Ward, Chuck Wendig, Wrath James White, and Rio Youers.

I've read four stories so far. All are well written. One story fell flat for me, as it seemed to shoehorn the superfluous into a story that wouldn't have been much different without it. Another story was terrific, and addressed some thoughts I've always had about original. And I've got 30 more to read....

Here is the table of contents. As I understand it, stories in Part One are during the epidemic, Part Two are during the conflict between Boulder and Vegas, Part Three, the world after the novel's end, and I think Part Four stories are some sort of tie ins to The Dark Tower mythos.

Hmm ... The Stand was terrible and I like zero of those writers.

I might not be the target audience.
