Those guys are like the Bible. On every issue, you can find passages supporting EVERY side of the argument.

However, they are in a bad spot. If they come out against Bush and something catastrophic happens, their political goose is cooked. If they come out for Bush and he has success, their political goose is cooked.

So they are PUBLICLY and LOUDLY going to support him while all the while doing everything they can to sink him. Kind of like my finger-pointing story of the other day. What they really want is to support him in failure to control the election in '04...
