We don't have a garden hose, one of the draw backs of living in a multi-family apartment building complex. We DO have a balcony though! It would swerve well for dumping unexpected bucketfulls of water down on any kids on Halloween that chose to make a nuisance of themselves. IF the management here would ALLOW for Trick-or-Treating. We have auto-locking security doors ... sought special permission to allow residents to leave them open for a few hours on Halloween night. They said no .. grr.
We're taking the kids (one is going as a witch, in a costume i sewed up from scratch ... the other is wearing another custume i made of a pink poodle skirt, complete with satin jacket like they wore in the 50's).along with the neighbors and their's .... to Trick-or-Treat over in the next town.... where there are more single family homes rather than apartment buildings.
Even as an adult .. i STILL enjoy Halloween. Glad i have kids ... i'd rather be out doing the Trick-or-Treat thing rather than staying home and passing candy out.![]()
