Tomorrow is Sailors birthday, but he won't be around, so I am hoping we can send his wishes his way today.

Dear, I know you blush easily so I will try to keep this light, but you really are a gem of a man, and I am so blessed that you kept after me and bopped me over the head to make me see just how much you care. The man I have come to know is a man I respect and admire for his dignity, his huge heart and his compassion. You have encouraged, supported, worried and let me have it when I needed it, (which wasn't often) *sticks out tongue* and I want you to know you are dancing in my heart. I'm nuts for you, and I always will be.....my thoughts are with you, and though we are distanced by so many miles, our friendship gives us wings to span that distance.

What I would give to give you the birthday that you would never forget....may it be as special as you deserve. Happy Birthday, my sailorman.
