Don't forget to send thanks to our members of the military by helping AMillionThanks.org send A Million Thanks.

From now through through Nov. 22, text a message of thanks to 89279 and a member of the military will send you a text back.

The major cell phone carriers are making this a cost free text.

Service members really deserve all our support. Have you given yours?

That's pretty kewl Nala.
Can you believe I do not know how to text though?
Don't own a cell.
I use His when needed..

As a military spouse, I'd also like to suggest contacting your local USO to see what is needed for those who'll be traveling during the holidays. The USO gives food and a place to rest at airports during layovers, can provide email access and telephone calls, foreign language translation, and connections...and it's all for free.

Of all the services offered to the military, this is the one that affects more members but in a more quiet way. Their shows are flashy and fun, but a cup of coffee and a comfortable place to nap during a 5 hour layover on a 24 hour flight is priceless.

They do so much more than the airport centers, but it is one area in need.

Thanx Sweets. And you're not alone with not knowing how to text or owning a cell phone- I know LOTS of folks like that ;)
