[so much for lurking, thanks again]
so I can’t swim again
there’s no place for it
but I can dive
in
a time when I fit everywhere
(which is right close to nowhere)
a bit of a fit to fit
in
my mind the physics of magical realism
have moved next to a
fearful nieghborhood of race
in
which I insist on playing
phone tag (& I hate phones)
with a lady I’ve never met
in
my empty room I return to
I wonder where poets might live
if only I could go back again
