Well, here it is... my big, fat, ugly, blue "no shirt will fit over me properly without stretching the crap out of it" freak arm.

I tried to pose in my best "feel sorry for me and make me chicken noodle soup" expression. It worked on mom. :D

Whoa! That is a wicked looking cast. Why is your hand all bent out to the side like that?

The expression works well enough you ought to be able to get more than soup with it. :D

Hope it heals quickly, Helene. :rose:

The Caster was a bit of a sadist.

I wonder if he's single.

Awww, poor girl.

Have some comfort food.

:D

Thanks for the pity posts, guys. I only wish it didn't take suffering a broken hand to recieve flowers and candy in time for Valentines. :(

Dran: It's actually a few bones- wrist, hand, and two fingers. The most difficult part about this ordeal has been learning how to pleasure myself with one hand.

Poor baby :rose: :(

Coincedentally, it happened on the same day you posted about a family member breaking her arm, and skull. I felt pretty guilty for moping about it after reading of her ordeal. I do hope she's feeling better now.

Much, but her cast has glitter in it. I think that helps. :D ;) I'm pretty sure anyone who breaks any bones has good reason to mope. :rose:

I think you might have to be under 4ft tall to get offered the pink glitter cast. ;)

Aaaawww... now you made me sniffle. :(

Take care of yourself, Beautiful. :rose:

But apparently, you are taking care of yourself. :D

So how did it happen? Or were you doing something naughty you don't want to talk about? ;)

It's important to be self-sufficient.

I'm a firm believer that you have to love yourself, first. :D

Ugh. I've never broken a bone before, let alone breaking several at once. I don't think the cast looks that bad, really, but having to re-learn how to pleasure oneself...

I feel for ya, hon. :rose:

(Don't get too carried away with your new learning curve.) ;)

I'm damned surprised you didn't have any public offers for assistance in that area.

You don't look like you need chicken soup any more in this one.

But you do. And ice cream.

;)

Despite looking like butter wouldn't melt in your mouth and being a class A beauty, you are quite a mischievous person. Don't think I haven't noticed. But I wouldn't wish this on you. You've got some good luck owed to you, if there's any justice in the world. I hope it comes quickly. Along with the ice cream, or even after the hand gets better. All the best.

Oh, I have... but luckily, I'm blessed with great will-power. One moment of gratification is never worth a lifetime of regret. ;)

Dranoel: I fell down. Yup. Fell down.

Cantdog: I just dipped my good finger in the butter, closed my eyes, and the moment it touched my tongue, it melted and dripped down my chin and into my cleavage. I must not be as cold as you thought.

I hate to see good butter go to waste, so now I'm making popcorn! :)

The expression about the butter is supposed to signify innocence. Or, I guess, blamelessness.

"You look like butter wouldn't melt! But I know it had to be you or him!"

My grandmother used it.

"Cold" never crossed my mind.

Yeah, I kind of chalked it up to some old cliche that I had likely never heard before, so decided to go the scientific route instead.

It applies, though, since I am both innocent and blameless.
