What personality traits are common in Bengals?

We'll probably get our daughter a persian this summer. She needs a laid-back, affectionate pet.

No WillfulBrat...I wish they were...I do have a Bengal Female....as well as 3 other cats and one new kitten...

Bengals are a combination of domestic and the Asian Leopard cat{found in Thailand,Vietnam,and Laos}...They are very smart and unique...sometimes people do have some problems with the inherited aggresion....but I have never seen it....My Bengal{name is Prissy}...LOVES WATER...I jump in the shower...guess who jumps in with me?....Willfulbrat...If I may suggest...a cat...if you can afford it...get your child a Singapura...they come from Singapore originally...they are smart and loyal...and laid back...and they don't get much bigger than kitten size...when they are grown....

I have my Bengal female{Prissy}...My Somali male{Hassan}..My Singapura female{Maya}..and a stray I found on the streets of Cairo Eygpt..{Tulee Cat}...no telling what type he is..and the one kitten that survived the litter from Prissy and Hassan..{Mysty Boy}

Okay that settles it...

That's it!! This weekend I'm getting a kitten from one of my friends (they just had a litter)! All these cute pic's (especially Kymberley's) makes me miss having a cat around. Now all I have to do is pick out which color I want.

Personally, having just washed my cat ( a mutt we found under a dumpster) and gotten the clawed end of the deal, I'm voting for the rights of cats not to get wet, even when fleas are a problem!

How about calling your vet and getting Advantage? it works on Fleas, and No trying to wash the feline.

I don't have any Bengals, although I want one. We get all our cats from rescue work with Community Concern 4 Cats, or finding strays. We added 2 kittens (James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupree and Miles Hugh Aubery) last year. Silver tabbie and white on both.

Get a Tiffany/Chantilly. They are the most loving, affectionate cats in the whole world. Mine is the biggest sweetiebaby... *huggles her kitty*

I've never heard of a Tiffany/Chantilly. I'll have to look them up on the Net tonight. Thanks, Always.

BTW, we accidentally got her a puppy. Our neighbors might shoot us if we aquire anymore animals.
