Abortion Sexism Creates Disaster in China
What has abortion done for women in China? It's gotten rid of them, that's what.
Take a communist dictatorship. Add a maniacally enforced one-child policy. Impose these two ingredients on a culture that greatly values sons over daughters. Result: genocidal catastrophe.
The Economist magazine says "widespread sex-selective abortion" in China has created "a huge and potentially destabilising [sic] sex imbalance."
There are 117 boys for every 100 girls; in some areas the ratio is 135-100.
Brigham Young University professor Valerie Hudson, who has studied the issue, predicts China will have 30 million unhappily unmarried men in 2020, "kindling for forces of political revolution."
And they are arming themselves to the teeth too. Which Hitler did and thus when push came to shove had the most prepared military at the time.
