OK, OK, I admit that came across a little strong.

It's just that I've been reading a lot of posts and a lot of them seem to have only one or two criteria for who they're looking for on here.

One young lady is looking for an older man. She's 21, so that's a pretty damn wide swath of the population.

One guy wanted to chat. To who? Don't know. About what? No idea.

I do understand that you can be too specific on here and end up with no responses, but I think you can find a middle ground, where you talk about what you want and at least rule out certain types of people.

So here we go.

I'm looking for a woman. Ideally in Toronto or southwestern Ontario but I get that might not be in the cards. She should be under 30 and interested in exploring her submissive side. If she's into being degraded, I will be tickled pink as I'm keen on exploring that myself. If she is willing to talk to someone who uses the expression "tickled pink" I will hold that against her. This can even be a problem once someone starts chatting with you.

I never just PM someone and say "nothing": If I'm messaging someone because they sound interesting, I always say something about why they caught my eye, and what I think we might have in common.

More often than I like to remember, I've gotten enthusiastic but airy replies that didn't really address anything much that I said.

These tend to be the people who just evaporate after a couple messages, probably having written me off as boring.
